Our team went here for dinner last week prior to our Team Planning event. Most of us prepared for it by just eating a small amount of food from breakfast to lunch. The moment has arrived and we were all overwhelmed by the wide spread of food that they offer. There are so many choices. Japanese, Chinese, Western cuisines, almost everything. We all went gaga over food. Well, not everything tasted good. There are some dishes which tasted so so but there are also some that were really delish. After a couple of hours of going around and tasting everything we were defeated. We surrendered. We don't want to stop but we can't anymore. Got no complaints about the food but I want to give a negative for the service. They've been trying to accommodate too much people that there are almost seat shortages. The normal seating capacity of 1 table is just 6 pax and they make it 8-10! So it was a so cramped. We almost touched elbows with people from the other table!

Came here just last week with family and few close friends. I have heard alot about Viking's as one of the go-to-buffet. This is not my first time to try buffets and I am a big critic when it comes to service and quality, why wouldn't I? I am paying.
We had reservations so no worry about getting seated. First impression, its big, crowded, lots of food, busy, and not filthy, which is expected from all the raves about this place.
Points noted, altho its eat all you can, every time you stuffed yourself and go for the next plate it seems like you haven't eaten, the spaciousness and the stationing of food helped to digest those grub down.
You have to place an order to grill seafood like oyster and the staff will bring them to your table, that's supposed to be the order. But till we left Viking's, which is after 2.5 hours, I did not see those oysters, and the staff even wrote down my table number!
One will be tantalized seeing the vast spread but if you will stop and really taste the food, they almost taste the same, nothing exceptional.
The grills are overdone leaving food dry and burnt.
The price is higher than other restaurants serving buffet but not as pricey as those offered in 5-star hotels.
Vikings is worth a try but if you really want to splurge and treat yourself for a really great food adventure via buffet, go for Shangrila, Mandarin, Manila Pen, Sofitel, or even Manila Hotel, then you will know where to go back for a money worth spent.
When it comes to spending on food, yourself, and loved ones, don't fall short.

There was no question that the food selection is one of the biggest in this part of town. There were different food stations for the steak, seafood, pizza/pasta, sushi, hot pot, desserts, etc. The place is quite big and can get quite chaotic because of its size and the number of people eating there. Lines can get long for certain stations like the steak since you had to wait for it to be cooked.
Most of the food items were quite delicious although the quality is not very consistent. When we ate there, the angus beef was very good while the tenderloin steaks were tough. The dessert was average with the exception of the local delicacy, bibingka, which was really very good.
Beer-drinkers would definitely enjoy since this is one of the few buffets that offer drink-all-you-can beers along with their buffet. Kids will enjoy the juices, gummy candies, taho and the other kid-friendly items on the menu like pasta and pizza.
The price for the buffet is quite reasonable considering the food choices. However, if you want a relaxed and peaceful dining experience, this is not the place for you.

Food is great and the price for unlimited food and drinks is fair enough. We will definitely be coming back for more.

We ate here last month, July 2012 in one of their weekend lunch buffet. Their weekend and holiday rates differ from their weekday rate, but they have additional viands in their weekend menu that's why it's higher . I was glad and satisfied with the place and their food ( especially steak and seafoods).Even when the place is big and the rate is quite expensive than other restaurants which offers buffet, it easily becomes crowded coz many people patronize this restaurant. Their weekend rate is almost similar to hotel buffet rates. I like their desserts, you can get your own yogurt from machine, there's also taho( soya) , pastries, crepes, ice cream, halo-halo and other kakanin( Philippine delicacies). And i also like their unlimited drinks, be it coffee (hot/cold) , tea, juices and even beers. I would eat here again (but probably during weekdays ) and wait for their branch to open in q.c. I can't wait!
