yes it is cheap & near the airport. we didnt mind booking here since we were just staying for a few hours to rest & shower but boy the location is scary. outside the hotel is very chaotic and overcrowded, you'll be afraid to walk outside unaccompanied.luckily, the room assigned to us was clean and has a bigger space but there are no windows, no remote for the A/C and the tv remote was broken.random girls & guys go in and out for a short time stay so use your imagination what type of clientele they mostly have. never again.

Room Tip: regency rooms are much bigger if you ever wanna try this place out

I made the mistake of choosing this hotel because it was cheap and near the airport when we were transiting through Manila for a half a day. We just wanted a place to rest our heads between long flights. It was not a good decision. The room was tiny and not clean. There were no windows. It was noisy and we did not sleep well.

The hotel charges short time rates. The mattress is covered in rubber. You can use your imagination about what kind of clientele they're aiming at. I will NOT stay here again, and wish I never did.

Room Tip: Rooms at another hotel are recommended.

Stayed in their standard room for 12 hrs which cost about 950 Pesos. Room is small, windowless, but clean. Air conditioning is cooling but very noisy and you cannot control it as there is no remote control. Near Taft MRT and also a shopping mall. Many fast food restaurant and also convenience shop. If you have kids , just be careful for the TV as it as a channel just showing adult movies. Getting a yellow cab from terminal 3 to here cost 150 pesos but there is a problem getting taxi back to airport as most want to charge a crazy 400 pesos.

I needed something close to the airport. It served that purpose and the room was clean enough. But it seemed more like a "rendezvous" hotel. Two nonstop porn channels on the TV. Front staff was less than helpful - took me nearly an hour to get checked in after 20+ hours on planes. So, if you want to stay somewhere for $25 close to the airport, it certainly serves that purpose well. Paid 250 ($6.50) for the hotel driver to take me to the airport the next day. Never felt unsafe, but wouldn't want to stay there more than a quick overnight.

I just want to sustain the claim of the first reviewer (Mr Rober S of Italy) with their terrible hotel experienced at Sogo hotel pasay rotonda. Actually we have the same horrible Sogo-NOT so clean and NOT so good experienced. We selected this hotel only because its near to the airport whilst we have an early morning flight to catch. Unfortunately, we arrived late in the evening, exhausted from long travel. As we entered the room, the strong smell of sodiium hypoclorite (chlorox) all over the room. Blankets and towels were packed in a transparent packaging that once opened-OMG, smells the same smell-Sodium hypochlorite. The room has no window, the air-conditioner which expected to refreshes the air inside was leaking and too noisy. As laid on the bed, we noticed the ceiling were decorated with abstract arts-oooops its not art but molds. We still have 3 and half hours to sleep, but its impossible if there is someone or something with us in the room- COCKROACH!

Sogo hotel must do something to improve their services, first on the rooms and next to their staffs (front desk) which are not so friendly and polite; So that their claims become more realistic and will not end to a horrible hotel sogo experience. Let see next time if something will be improved. There's always room for improvement!

I went to this hotel last December 2011 with my friend, we paid for like Php2200,00 for their most expensive room, we were told that there was a bathtub in the room but we only found the shower. They said that the bed were comfortable, believe me, THEY ARE NOT. We tried to complain at the front desk, but the guy there was toooo busy entertaining other guests, so we waited. When we gave our complaints, the guy didn't speak even in english.
Will never comeback to this hotel again.
One last thing, there are cockroaches EVERYWHERE!
