This has got to be one of the nicest new hotels in manila. Rooms are brand new and very spacious. Cant ask for anything more because rooms are well appointed and are complete with what you think you will ever need in your stay. Bathroom is huge. Paid around 200 us dollars after discount so its not that bad. Only downside is the expensive food for the room service (arent they all?), comp breakfast is a soso and the staff at check in are in my opinion, amateurs. Heard about the high end villa which is out of this world. Will try that one next time. Love this hotel plus the fact that its connected to a casino/shopping/movie house. This hotel is a favorite so far.

Room Tip: use your resorts world card for more discount

I would say their DELUXE SUITE ROOM is fairly large, very comfortable ,have welcome fruit basket and big on gadgetry. The TV had an ample library of movies to watch all free and was also hooked up to the Internet " INTERNET TV" , complete with wireless keyboard. There was a touch screen telephone on the desk so you could easily contact your butler available you can call 24 hours a day not to mention their complimentary toiletries which was excessive .Delicious international buffet breakfast though very little choices. All-in-all, the 2nights experience was very favorable and I would recommend the hotel.

Placed a food order at 930PM . Was told it will take 30 to 40 minutes. After more than an hour of waiting, called and followed up. No one could tell me what the status of my order was. Called again. Was told my food is on the way. Had to wait another 20 minutes. Food was delivered more than 2 hours after order was placed!!!!! I didn't eat anymore. Went to bed hungry! And this is a 6-star hotel?????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed at Maxims for a week in August 11.
The Good :
Rooms - Fantastic
Bathrooms - Fantastic
Staff - Very nice

Now the bad:
Only 2 elevators (one was out for most of our stay) very slow to get up and down
No Air con in the elevators - so you end up sweating by the time you make it downstairs
Air con in the bedroom - either off or freezing. A clear problem in the hotel. We had to sleep with ours off or freeze. Moved rooms and it's clear it is a hotel problem.

Overall the rooms are great, the elevators are just livable but the room air cons have to be sorted out.

I would stay again, but only on a good rate. The rooms are not as good as Marriott, but no problems there.

Come on Maxims, you can do it.

Thank you so much to Justine, the butler at the lobby of Maxims, for returning back my lost cellphone. God bless you Justine!! You returned my cellphone expecting nothing in return. I don't know how to thank you enough. And since it's my first time to go there I find the hotel very beautiful. From the guards and to all the employees working at Maxims, they are all very nice and accommodating. Thank you Justine! Thank you Maxims Hotel!

The lobby was under construction so it was not a welcoming site. Butler service was non-existent as no one even bothered carrying our luggage nor accompany us to our room. They just gave me the key and that was it. They didn't even explain how to use the complimentary WIFI nor where and when breakfast will be served. (Just input 0+your room number for the user and your last name non caps for the password by the way) So it left a bad first impression and we didn't bother making use of their butler service. This property is ALL SMOKING thus it's not suited for infants. If I'm to mention any pros, I would say the fixtures and the bathroom for they are 6 star worthy. Breakfast selection was not vast but I have to say it was good. I would not go back to this hotel but I would still recommend it to people who don't mind the smell of cigarette smoke deodorant filling up your lungs. It's still a good hotel but definitely not infant or child friendly.

My husband and I along with our 3 kids decided to celebrate my birthday with an overnight stay at the Maxim's Hotel located within the Resorts World complex. The hotel markets itself as an all- suite hotel and the only one-of-it's-kind in the Philippines.
I would say the rooms are fairly large, very comfortable and big on gadgetry. The TV had an ample library of movies and was also hooked up to the Internet, complete with wireless keyboard. There was a touch screen telephone on the desk so you could easily contact your butler who was available at your beck and call 24 hours a day. Honestly their butler service was nothing more than glorified housekeeping/ front desk / room service all rolled into one but calling them butlers surely upgraded their status and made it sound glamorously chic. The stay was very expensive at around P16,000-P18,000 a night for their basic room but their complimentary toiletries was excessive and lavish. A negative was their parking. The hotel offered valet parking but if you want to self-park the car, you would have to park at the very end of the complex which would be considered a long ways walk, especially if you have luggage and children to consider. All-in-all, the overnight experience was very favorable and I would recommend the hotel, that is if you don't mind staying near the airport and not in the center of the city.
