“Real street tacos!!!”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

Like the rest of the reviewers, its a cool mix literally on the street. It's a late night drinking spot, foreigners, backpackers, casual locals, etc. It's a cool little spot, but come prepared for it.
As for as the food goes, easily the best street tacos in Manila, price is good, best for me would be al pastor and the sisig tacos, but all are quite tasty. Have a beer and sit on the street for some authentic Mexican and enjoy. It is a nice little gem in Makati, give it a go if that is what you are in the mood for. Tacos will no disappoint.

“Very food food, street ambiance, awesome vibe”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

El Chupacabra is definitely one of the best restaurants/places to be in Makati. It serves the best Mexican food in town. Their pollo chicken is awesome and they serve great beer brands like Corona and Tecate. They are open until 2am or every later. It's the perfect place to hangout and dineout with friends. It's located just in front of H&J so you can party on right after. The waiters are friendly and the price is awesome.

“A slice of Khao San Action in Makati”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

They sell cheap local beer and mexican brands too (Corona & Tecate). If you never been to khao san road in bangkok, this is the nearest place to get that ambiance here in Makati. Most of the crowd are foriegner/backpacker mix. If you think you're too old for that thing no need to worry Heckle & Jeckle Pub is just across the street catering for the more mature foriegn crowd.

El Chupacabra's must try includes their Street Tacos, Sisig ( sizzling chopped pork mask) and BQQ ( pork skewers).

“Great atmoshpere, good food...come early!”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

Visited this place recently to try their street Tacos. It was actually my second visit, the first being about a year ago when it was then just a branch of Mexican chain Mexicali. Back then, we were the only customers for dinner. Since they started offering street tacos and expanded to the streets, the place apparently became more popular. So much so that even if we arrived early at 6:30pm, the table we got was the last one and right on the street. Better make sure you come early as there was a continuous stream of people still waiting for a table up until we left. The street tacos were interesting. It's presented in an open faced soft taco that you roll up. Prices are quite reasonable and ranges from P95 - P 125/pc. depending on the filling. The ones I tried were flavorful and best of all, it had Guacamole which is a bit hard to find in other Mexican restos. We also odered Nachos to share that came with a platter. In the end, I only had 2 tacos and the nachos plus about 6 beers and I was stuffed! Overall, a nice good value place to hang out for the food and atmosphere. Service was bit slow and chaotic that time as the staff had difficulty managing the crowd.
