I recently was booked into this hotel by our distributor which is in a building just opposite of this hotel. If you are not on a budget and also do not need to be in that location I would advice to look for other options. The hotel itself is ok for its class however I do not think it is suitable for business. The internet there is very poor. We purchased a prepaid internet option but it did not work at all. I was upgraded to a junior suite which is large and comfortable. The place is ok clean but the lobby does smell of disinfectant. Did not see any roaches but did see at least 3 roach traps in my room.

Check in was uneventful and was rather swift but check out was a bit messy and took some time. Breakfast was so so and not something to write about.

So all in all ok for the price and location but if you need to stay a few more days then I suggest to look for options.

Very clean and comfortable rooms in this hotel in the business center of Manila. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent in-room massage was also provided for.

The hotel bar was rather small and booked for a private party when I was there, so hotel guests could not use it, but an outdoor restaurant was OK for a drink during the evening. It is also quite far to restaurants and nightlife from the hotel, but if you are there for business purposes it's not that important. There is supposedly a gym there which I did not go to, but my colleague said it was rather old and several of the machines did not work.

The wi-fi was not for free.

In short, this is a hotel for Asian bus tour groups.

Not a cockroach in sight. More than clean enough. Bathroom incredibly slippery when wet, meaning they chose the cheap tiles .. which pretty much sums up this place.

Same with the staff. With one exception, they have no ability to think eg: I offered my credit card on arrival and then was asked my name. Guess what ? same as on the card!. No taxi can find this place – but there is no forethought in giving you some written instructions to show a driver.

Ask the concierge for something like this - and he disappears.

Ask for advice how to get to a suburb and their suggestion is to buy a map – but no idea where one can buy such a map. sigh

Check into the room, no lights… and management want to argue that facts rather than fix it.

Breakfast is ok – but far from generous.

If you get an incredibly low rate, and can cope without any real service or meaningful assistance - then this is your place. Otherwise - you could do better.

No hot water! Despite complaining for 4 days, all they front desk personnel did was a reassurance but nothing happened!
COCKROACHES are everywhere. While sleeping, these roaches will wake you up by the crawling under your sheets!
I requested the front desk for a wake-up call at 6:30am but the phone rang to wake me up only at 7:15am. I certainly panic and call the attention of the front desk personnel but all it did was trying to justify the error but not even apologizing neither being sorry for it. I have to skip breakfast just as to be able to catch up my car picking me up at 7:45am
The reception desk personnel lacks the cordial way to welcome guest. They would asked you several questions with an icy face. No smiles and No courtesies!

We chose this hotel due the close location to Makati Medical Center, only 5-10 minute walk.
Had a deluxe room, very spacious and clean, looked recently renovated. Hotel staff very courteous, on par with staff at some 5 stars we have stayed at. Restaurant average, just stick to breakfast (it was included with our booking). Mini bar prices reasonable for a hotel, most items P 60. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, especially after reading some earlier reviews (pre renovation I suspect). Only real complaint was was somewhat low water pressure and warm vs hot water. Would stay here again
