“Good price for very good location”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

I stayed there for two nights on a super tight budget business trip that required proximity to Greenbelt and to some of the luxury hotels. The first room was not acceptable, so I asked for a room change and the second room was no problem. Breakfast buffet is not worth the time or effort, but the short walk to Greenbelt with their coffee shops and restaurants provided plenty of top tier breakfast and dining choices. The room was good for sleeping, showering and changing clothes, but you would not want to spend a rainy day lounging about indoors, as it is just not THAT kind of hotel.

Room Tip: Be careful to check the room carefully for mold, smell of cigarette smoke or anything else unpleasan...

I had some points left from Agoda, so we decided to just use them on an overnight stay in Makati. I liked that the hotel is close to Greenbelt, you just had to walk a block. The check in went smoothly, until we were showed a room immediately beside an electrical transformer from the street. We decided to change the room . (figured it won't be so healthy living near an electrical transformer) The room was bigger than I expected, all the normal hotel things. The towels might need to be retired, it looks tired already. And the lavatory needs tweaking, because water is running everywhere. The airconditioning is cool, and I liked that it is near the Greenbelt area.

Room Tip: Ask for the room far away from the electrical transformer

My partner and I stayed here with our parents so booked a total of 3 rooms for 4 nights.

All 3 rooms were run down with water damage evident and mould throughout due to dodgy plumbing and ventilation... Definitely not good for one's health. In fact, 2 of us got sinus related illnesses whilst staying here.

Sheets were stained
Internet constantly cut out
Room service was poor - they were slow and didn't refresh things like the bar fridge, tea cups/glasses and even toilet paper unless requested
The hotel was very close to a busy road (approx 5 meters) making it very noisy and difficult to sleep at night

Nothing really positive to say except that it was walking distance to greenbelt.

We have stayed in many budget hotels in many countries and this would be our worst experience to date.

When i booked this hotel on Agoda, i wasn't expecting it to be this near to Greenbelt shopping centre. It was less than a minute away. And hailing a taxi from outside the hotel is very easy. Other than the good location, the room was clean and check-in/check-out without any hassle. There's two 24hours convenience stores around the corner, massage parlour down the road and money changer right at the lobby. Value for money for the location.

Good location and hardly value for money. Its about the green belt area of makarti. Didnt get in-room wifi although they advertised which created an issue. Room setting is poor and toilets are cramped up. Other than that nothing much to say.
After all cant expect much for the price!

I booked this hotel based on the previous reviews and quite nervous whether it'll be nice or not. It turned out to be quite a gem of a place! I've stayed in lots of hotels and this place is ideal for its location, super attentive staff, and its own restaurant that serve surprisingly delicious local dishes. Check-in was real easy however, the room we were put in had a weak air conditioner - which you wouldn't want if you're in Manila during the summer months as the heat is just unbearable. I contacted the front desk and was immediately moved to a different room. Customer service is tops in this hotel. We stayed for a pleasant two days and would definitely come back to this hotel!

Free wifi is only available in the lobby/restaurant area. The rooms has a free internet LAN port which was useless to me as I had an iPad.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are shielded from traffic noise

My partner and I stayed at E-Hotel for 3 days. Everybody in that hotel were very nice and accommodating. The location is excellent (Greenbelt is just across the street, about 30 secs walk) and room rates are very reasonable. We reserved a room at Agoda and surprisingly, when we gt there, they upgraded our room to a Suite! The room they gave us was very spacious and comfy. We will definitely come back!
