This is my second time here, and my second Buddha Bar internationally. The decor and atmosphere are almost the same as other branch, it has the giant Buddha as its centerpiece. The ambience here is terrific and the food is very good. Service is also good. I just notice not that many guest as the place is also quite big. Since the mall is just opening beside, I expect this place to be filled up pretty soon.

Buddha Bar in Makati would be one of my favourite restaurants in the world. As a Kiwi living in Makati it's my solace from the frantic traffic and people crush of Manila. Ambience is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, service is superb. Just needs a few more people to make it really go off!

The place is a sensory delight - from the interior (a giant Buddha) to the layout and tables and the food. If one frequently watches kung fu films you have the this unconscious feeling that Jet Li will appear and execute some stunts. One can have a laugh about this with your companions. The food is superb and tasteful. The waiters are attentive and are quick to refill your empty glasses without being told. Though they should improve the uniform as it looks like a plain black shirt and black pants. They have sumptuous array of food and their lunch/dinner set aren't shabby either.
They have a veranda which can be used at night when the weather is cooler.

Great interior, attentive service crew and superb food and we will be back. We went on a Tuesday night which must be one of the slower evenings and hence there were not an enormous amount of guests but we enjoyed our family dinner nevertheless.

Cool place with cool music and attentive service and good food and we look forward to our next visit.

We went to the Buddha Bar on a Wednesday at 7:30 pm. There were very few guests. We ordered the set dinner menu. The filet mignon, the stuffed prawns and snapper were very good. The tempura onion rings were light and crispy. The lemongrass pilaf was a bit flavorless. Similarly, the French onion soup lacked the strong beef flavor and may have been adjusted a bit too much to the local palate. The dessert, a chocolate fondant, on the other hand, was excellent. The service was very good. The waiters were attentive without being overbearing, which may have been hard to do when the restaurant is practically empty. The music was very subtle and pleasant. This has only been our second time at the Buddha Bar and we enjoyed it a great deal. We will certainly go back.
