Have been visiting here for many years and its convenient, but noisy and smokey. However they do have a variety of menus which by and large a very good. However they are sporting a new "Traditional Thai Food Menu", with beautiful pics of Thai dishes. However their Thai green chicken curry was a disgrace to the Thai name. Why companies think they can just reproduce one of the worlds most popular dishes is beyond belief. Chicken, coconut milk ,chilli's and soggy eggplant does not constitute a Thai curry. No spices were evident, basil, corriander or kaffir lime lacking and to serve it with Indian sambals is extraordinary!! If this was a sample of all the other dishes pictured on the menu beware!!

It's a pub with an enormous number of TV screen so, if you want to watch some sporting event, it's great. On the downside, the noise from different channels and background music is often irritating. The service is ok but the food is mediocre, sometimes poorly cooked and often items are out of stock. Speciality beers are displayed on blackboards and but are invariably out of stock. Over a one year period, the brand I asked for was displayed on the board but never available. They do have a selection of foods and snacks from the UK which are difficult to find in Manila. By the awful standards of Manila, this place is ok. (In almost any other major city in this region, it would be classed as below average.)

Coming back to Manila the first time in 10 months was straight to the Howzat for s good feed and the famous happy hour. I did however notice a few changes, for one the menu has changed they have a better selection of pizzas and now an extensive burger menu. One thing is missing for the worse- the steak sandwich was great here not sure why they ditched it. As always the place was busy the service was good and didn't have to wait for a beer was always one ready to go. Plenty of sport on tv as well. The chicken wings here are great. I also noticed a few things missing from the range of deli products and no more bundaberg rum ?? What's going on guys ???

If you are looking for a sports bar with fantastic pub food then come to Howzat, quality food, excellent service and value for money. If you are there on a Sunday you must have the Sunday roast Deal form 12-3pm, beautiful selection of roasted meats, salads and veg, price includes unlimited beer - bargain..
The burgers are also one of the best I've had, I tried the "hangover" burger for obvious reasons and it didn't disappoint!!
