thought this was one of those overrated restaurants with inflated price tags. but after ordering our first dish the crespela ai funghi e tartufo, we were convinced that this place truly delivers what its known for: fine flavours and truly authentic Italian cooking. while we found the butternut squash soup a tad salty, all was forgiven when we had our US Angus Rib Eye drizzled with balsamic vinegar. its simplicity brought out the true taste of the meat. brought back memories of rome! the difference is, at l'incontro, food comes with the attentive service of waiters who make the dining experience more pleasurable than the ones i've had abroad.
