So clean, very friendly and very accommodating staff. We're going back for one night this February 2013. We had a very late check in and the staff was really helpful and made us feel very comfortable.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 2nd floor Junior Suite and it was really quiet!

I had some business to deal with in Makati - Manila needed a room to stay for one night only . The Hotel was fully booked, however they prioritize me for check in. During the waiting time, I kept the front desk busy, as I had several tickets, voucher and other documents to be printed. Over all maybe over 25 pages , which they did without charge or any other comment. I enjoyed a Club House sandwich which was excellent , juicy not to burned with the right amount of chicken and vegetables . IUnfortunate they had a power off and the beverages were not cold, but that can happen anywhere . The room was small but very efficient , shower room, flat screen tv, working desk, small kitchen unit. Everything what you need for a very comfortable night of sleep .The room service was fast and friendly and even my pick up to my upcoming meeting was organized by the Front Office , in a European timely manner, a good place to stay

Room Tip: Choose room 202, its quite and easy accessible

Booked this hotel online, I had never seen it before. From check in to check out, everything was easy. the room(junior suite) was great, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and easy to get along with. The buffet breakfast was good, only thing, juices were an extra. We ate from the dinner menu on both nights of our stay, excellent and reasonably priced, served to our suite for a little extra charge. Wifi was fast and reliable, and the cable tv was good too.

Room Tip: Choose 1 of the suites, very comfortable and affordable

We stayed 2 nights at Guijo Suites. Stuff were really friendly and helpful, rooms clean and quite simple. We didnt have a window in our room though, so after some time it felt a little claustrophobic in there. The hotel is located in a quiet area but it is not far away from attractions like Greenbelt or Araya Center, both great places for eating & shopping. If we were going to manila again we would stay at this place again.

The management of the Guijo Suites owed me a refund. Rather than send a check to my U.S. home they advised me that it would be easier for me if they sent a bank transfer in dollars rather than pesos. It cost them money to do this but that is how they are. They care about their customers and it shows. I now stay at the Guijo regularly as I do business in the Philippines.

Room Tip: The standard room is a real value. The two bedroom suites have a small second bedroom.

Stayed 3 nights at Guijo at the beginning of Nov. It felt modern and my room was clean. Got an upgrade from junior to next level suite (not that I needed a second bedroom since I was traveling alone, but it was a nice gesture).
+ best thing was the genuinely friendly staff and good service, they really tried to accomodate the wishes I had. I changed from second to fourth floor without problem (if you want to see anything from your (small) windows I recommend floors 3-5. They also let me borrow their personal iphone chargers since i forgot mine.
- the size of the hotel puts some limits on facilities and service. Breakfast is limited, which I think is necessary if you want to be able to offer reasonably fresh dishes. Personally I think they have a fairly good trade-off between freshness and number of dishes, but do not expect a Shangri-la or Peninsula breakfast. The fresh juices were very nice (ordered separately and not included in the buffet). No recreational facilities like gym, lounge, etc.

All in all good value, excellent service, and a new clean hotel.

Booked a junior suite thru Agoda. I like the lay out of the room, it is like a condo with a small sala where the tv is, kitchenette. The bedroom is separate with big windows, desk, phone etc. The decor is modern, minimalist with splashes of color. Really nice.

Staff is very accommodating, and friendly. The hotel is only 70 cab ride to the shopping areas of Greenbelt and Glorietta. There are lots of restos, eateries nearby. The alternative club Saguijo is nearby. Also an art gallery in the same vicinity.

Good alternative to the usual hotels in Makati.
