Description: Launched in Greenbelt 3 in 2002, Sentro 1771 revolutionized Filipino cuisine by introducing the modern Filipino cuisine experience. Sentro was the first to break the boundaries found in time-honored and familiar homegrown recipes by infusing them with a delectably sophisticated and cosmopolitan dimension. Using only the finest ingredients from both here and abroad along with a deep understanding of various traditional Filipino dishes, Sentro 1771 has reinvented many local favorites. It has preserved these dishes’ many layers of taste and flavor while constantly adding something new and exciting to the mix. Undeniably, the dish that put Sentro 1771 on the map is its famous Corned Beef Sinigang - using our own corned beef cured in-house for 3-5 days. Other hits include our Rated GG, which has turned the humble galunggong into a sophisticated and flavorful dish; and Keso Flan, a delightful Filipino twist on the traditional cheesecake served with salted egg and queso de bola.

We had no problems with the food. The single portion of kare+kare was ample for 2 sharing. They were a bit stingy with the bagoong but there were no issues asking for more. Hubby's pork ribs were yummy but a bit on the dry side. It could have done with a little less cooking to keep it moist. Rice was an add on.
It took a while though to get the food considering they were getting ready to close and the place was not packed.
I have no problems coming back to eat but would psyche myself for the wait.

Im just trying all the restaraunts in this area slowly at about 4 a year for the past 6 years. only had one bad meal on the top floor of Greenbelt 5 and I even ate at Chili's and it was actually decent for me, I never been to one before. so spoilt for choices here.
Sentro seemed inovative with the twist on Sinagang and will agree with other posters that is was delish. they will bring you out the broth to see if u like it or wish to add or remove some salty and sour. I added sour and shoulda let that one stay as it is. coming out tangy it was still easy to get down. corn beef works in this dish. an old fave is pinacbet and had an order of this too, they call it healthy vegetable potpouri and u can order it with or without bagaong. I suggest with, its fish bagaong and they make it in house and its not so salty. in Hawaii we always have this with patis or bagaong, its not the same without the fishy taste. it aslo comes with grilled bangus and is also delish. with some plain rice and 2 san miguel lights the tab came to $17 with 10% gratuity included. indoor and outdoor seating. lots of fans outside for them humid nights. dined alone after 10:30 am so there open late.
