“Stop Looking Now! This place is GREAT!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Staying in Manila has always been a monumental battle between ending up in over-priced big-named hotels that literally rape you for every penny and cent where the Wi-Fi is usually chugged up with everyone else using it at the same time, and the smaller (i.e.: much cheaper) hotels that say they have this that and the other, yet it ain't there or "is not working now, sir" when you arrive.. Well, that misery is, for me at least, now finally truly and very thankfully over..
Bottomline: the staff here are just IN-CRED-IBLE!!!! And I mean both front and back-of-house staff in all areas; no long waits for reception to pick up; if you have to ask for anything for the room, they up there within less than a few minutes (extremely rare for any Manila hotel by the way!); they'll pretty do anything you ask of them - they even went out an got me a phone card when I ran out of load, changed money for me without a quibble; extended my stay without any you-need-to-check-out-then-to-check-back-in bs; and the most incredible, they even fully cleaned and changed my room at 11pm at night when I had a minor coffee spill on the sheets and floor. Sorry but I don't care where you have stayed in the world, this is not just any ol' hotel.
It's a very cool unique cutie tucked off a street away from Ayala Triangle Park, within walking distance to Greenbelt Plaza and Makati & Ayala avenues; the rooms have balconies and they will try their best to put you somewhere quiet if you ask for it when you arrive; the Wi-Fi worked efficiently every single day & night I was here; the room was cleaned daily (although I did ask them to leave me alone for few days and they did so, graciously); the brasserie downstairs had a great breakfast, particularly for Manila where this is often a major problem, and the waiters were attentive and well-trained (even the chefs were friendly and accommodating!).
Bottomline: and I 'd say this directly to the owner/GM if I could, don't change a thing guys; it's about as perfect a little hotel you could ever want to stay in any where in the world. I usually don't gush much over any hotel, but this really is an exceptional place, and very much worth the time and effort to write this review. After near 6 years of travelling back and forth to Manila, I won't ever be staying anywhere else in this city.

Room Tip: Just ask at reception for quiet room with a balcony at the back of the hotel. You can call ahead or...

Check in was as smooth as silk. Staffs were pleasant at all time. Did not take long to have the check in procedures complete. Room was upgraded at no cost and such a wonderful gestures since it was my first trip to the Philippines. Unfortunately, stayed only for 1 night. Room was faultless, I would recommend anyone and everyone who is in Makati, Philippines to stay here.

Wanted to stay in the business district to do away with the daily experience of traffic jams when travelling from my parents' home in the suburbs. The place was not on the main road but close enough to walk to the places where i need to get to, places where i can eat good food and shop without the transport problem. The staff was very helpful, polite and very pleasant. It is a modern hotel, young and hip in style. It is well maintained and clean. The room was spacious and i have internet and wi-fi access.

Room Tip: While it is convenient to have breakfast in the hotel, i would pass it up as there are more choices...

Stayed there during business convention on 2nd week of Mar 2013. The area is quite good, room is nice, and with a bit of walking, you can arrive at where bunch of restaurants are around. The hotel is basically an apartment. I stayed there with my colleague on a twin sharing room which is quite spacious. The room comes with mini kitchen and fridge, however you would need to borrow kitchen utensils from house-keeping if you need it. It's free of charge as long as nothing is broken/spoiled.

The room is decorated with painting and quite comforting. Minor problem which may cause serious effect is the edge of bed near the desk which may hurt or scratch the tenants as the void between bed and desk is not much, which is quite funny as the room itself is actually very spacious. Another small problem is during busy hour, parking or drop-off in front of hotel can be problematic. Please make sure to carry the map of this hotel if you are coming with taxi, as not all taxi drivers are familiar with this hotel location, although it is basically near the CBD center.

I am impress and amaze of this place! As a boutique service apartment it is exceptional! it has a five-star service.
The best asset of this hotel are the staff- front office staff were warm, attentive and very helpful, I really think they are one of the best FO hotel staff I have encountered. The security guys are very courteous.
The rooms are huge, trendy and clean. The bed is good though it would be nice to additional more pillows:-)
The food was good and has a fairly big serving!
Small things that I requested was promptly granted like ( adapter, extra bottle of water , coffee and etc) in short room attendants were very attentive.
This place reflects filipinos warm, friendly manner and hospitality;-) I will certainly come back!

Room Tip: I stayed on the third floor on a standard room and everything was perfect. I guess all their rooms...

I travel to Manila 4 or 5 times a year and always stay at The Picasso Boutique. It is a quaint, modern "boutique" hotel in a quiet neighbourhood of Makati and just a short walk to Greenbelt. I stay at The Picasso Boutique because of the consistently high level of service offered. And this visit was no exception. There was a problem with my room. I brought it to the staff's attention and it was resolved immediately... just as I have come to expect! See you again on my next visit!

Accommodating staff.
Clean and spacious room.
Perfect for people who loves art (art gallery plus art works in the room)
Clean and perfectly designed bathroom (toilet separated from the shower, I'm quite picky when it comes to hotel toilet and bath, so this setup is perfect for me).
Had a good night's sleep.

Downsides are, no mirror outside bathroom and very pricey published rates.
