We had lunch twice in this restaurant. She took the fish catch of the day cooked in paper. This special cooking method makes the fish very juicy and full of flavors. It's really excellent. I would recommend avoiding the croque madame which was awful ( because of the very strange cheese taste )

Our hotel made a reservation at the poplular Thai restaurant next door, but we both liked the menu at Sala Bistro, so decided to try it out and were pleasantly surprised. We had a great appetizer of grilled mushrooms/goat cheese crostini -- really tasty. My fiance ordered a simple pasta with sausage, tomato sauce and i think fennel. He loved it. I had nice piece of salmon with chilli lemon risotto. We had a great bottle of Spanish wine too. Service was attentive, but not imposing. If we're in Manila again, we'd definitely return.

Nothing spectacular to rave about . We had the tomato soup and carpaccio appetizers. Fair. Soup was watery and carpaccio had no flavor. Missing Parmesan and olive oil. Main courses were slightly better. Beef bourguignon was ok, salmon with risotto was too dry. Carafe of red wine for 1000 pesos was nothing special. Service is impeccable, charming waiters . The place is clean and somewhat cozy. Next door the people palace offers Thai food. That is THE place to go. Sala bistro needs improvement . Potentials but not there yet.

I had lunch here and will absolutely go back. We had the specials of the day, chefs creation and loved them all. The soup was wonderful, and normally I don't eat soup in the tropics, but this was worth it, as was the rest of the meal

Having just returned from the foodie Siberia which is Borocay Island and it's numerous tourist traps, it was indeed a relief and joy to dine at Sala Bistro. Everything about this restaurant is of the highest order, from the food, to the wine, to the excellent service. One can go wrong with respect to the many restaurants in Greenbelt, but not, dare I say, at Sala!

Simply not to be missed!
