We came from Sodus Point for an early Saturday evening dinner. We were not disappointed-service was excellent, and the food was superb-I had the pan roasted salmon and my partner had the chicken dish.Wine selection was also varied, and reasonably priced.Service was outstanding, and management was flexible to our seating preference(by the fireplace). We will return, and most probably stay at the Inn as well.

I was actually on a bus tour.
Springside Inn, established 1851, is located on Lake Owasco, one of the eleven Finger Lakes. It's a family run business. The owner boarded the bus and welcomed us.
Our group did not stay here but we had a meal one night. Everyone had a salad for a starter. I had ham (peach on top), mashed potatoes and veggie. The ham covered half my plate! I couldn't eat it all and had to skip the ice cream for dessert.
The service was awesome!

Sit on the patio if weather permits. New menu seems to have something for everyone.
Perfect spot to eat when going to the Merry-go-round theater nearby!

I had the chef's board consisting of duck wings, asian salad & fried oysters. Others had the pizza and a salad with tuna. Everyone was very satisfied.

We dined at the Oak & Vine in the Springside Inn two nights during our stay there. The first evening was indoors, the second was out on the large patio which we preferred for the quieter setting. The first meal we had the warmed hummus for a starter, a mushroom pizza, and the pan roasted salmon accompanied by a recommended good local white wine. The next night we split a serving of the NY strip steak which comes with a root vegetable mash and caramelized Brussel sprouts, which was just right for the two of us, with a good local red wine. The food was all very tasty and well presented; the service was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our dinners very much.
