Located nice and close to the Auburn theatre which was the reason for our visit. Took about 6 minutes to walk. After the car ride the pool was most welcome. The water was a bit cool but refreshing. The room was spotless and the bed soooooo comfortable, nice bedding too. Room had a small fridge and microwave which was perfect for us. The breakfast buffet for $9.95 was terrific. Lots of fresh fruits, a made to order bar for eggs, bacon, hashbrowns etc. Fresh juices , muffins danish etc. The was staff super friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for your review! I am so happy that you had the opportunity to experience the many amenities that we have here at the hotel. The breakfast is always a big hit, especially since it is made to order for you personally, with many options to choose from. I am also glad you were able to experience the wonderful theater scene here in Auburn. With so many great shows and events that are held at the many theaters here, it is no wonder that you traveled all the way from Canada to enjoy a show!

Thank you for letting us know that you will come back. I am sure that the Finger Lakes Music Theatre Festifal that is held in Auburn would be to your liking. They have excellent shows coming up and they are always expertly produced and executed. Feel free to contact me personally and I would be happy to give you more information.

Spent a long weekend here in Feb 2013 with our girls hockey team. Located midway between shopping destinations (20 min to Waterloo Premium Outlets and 34 min to Destiny USA). Hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. This included offering our group the boadroom/library for our evening get togethers, so that we could have our social time without disturbing the other guests. Rooms were clean and spacious and well decorated! Toilets flushed well and showers had great water pressure. Not the best soundproofing-evidenced by travelling noise from pool area straight to our room ( which was on 2nd floor) but which didnt cause a problem for us. Agree with previous comments re HVAC. Room was either really hot or too cold. Best part of stay was interaction with hotel staff, who were consistently friendly and accomodating! We WILL be back!

It would be a very good hotel at this area. Room is very clean and comfortable. But they charge almost 10 $ for the break fast. This should not be a problem if the quality of the break fast is worth it. Unfortunately, it isn't. So my suggestion would be chose this hotel but avoid the break fast.
And one more thing is strange, they don't provide 24 hrs coffee at the lobby which I thought should be kind of standard at this level hotel.

Room Tip: Better not the backside room which facing the bridge.

I recently had occasion to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, NY. As expected with most Hiltons, I found the facility to be well maintained with excellent service. The room and bathroom were clean and modern.

My only wish was that the package HVAC units worked better. As with most of my experiences with these units, when the heat isn't being demanded they blow cold air. We shut off the unit - seems to be the best solution.

Other than that, I hate duvets. It's feast or famine - too hot under it and too cold without it. Unfortunately, it seems to be the norm in most hotel chains.

Just had to get that in :)

Great hotel, great brand.

My husband and I frequently visit Auburn, We have family living nearby. What a wonderful surprise to find this friendly, clean hotel so close to everything we need. The price was fantastic and our suite was so comfortable. We will be staying here on all our future visits.

My fiance and I visited the Hilton Garden Inn to evaluate it as a possible location for our guests to stay during our wedding weekend. We do not live locally so admittedly the visit was last minute and we did not speak with anyone before arriving. However, I was thoroughly disappointed in the reception we received. The staff at the front desk was entirely unhelpful and unaccommodating. We only requested a brief tour and to be shown a guest room. We were snidely told that only those having an event at the hotel could reserve a block of rooms and that the person we needed to speak with was unavailable. Even if we couldn't reserve a block of rooms, we would have been open to suggesting this location for our guests but after the rude and dismissive service, we are looking elsewhere.

This is simply a beautiful hotel with lovely decorating emphasizing the garden in its name. The room was great with a super comfy bed. The location is right in Auburn. It was a quick business stop so I didn't get to use the facilities they offer. Everything was clean and bright. I would definitely choose this hotel when in the area again. They do not offer a complimentary breakfast, but offer a buffet for about $10. We did not take advantage of that, but went to the Riverbend Coffee Shop downtown instead. As others have mentioned in their reviews, it's a great stopping place for visiting Skaneateles (one of my all time favorite places), Seneca Falls, etc.

Room Tip: Taking a tip from previous reviews, we requested a room on the fourth floor which offers a great vie...

Thank you for your response! We are so glad you had a wonderful stay! Our hotel is most definitely bright and beautiful, with the "garden" theme extending throughout the entire hotel. We do hope you come back and take advantage of our numerous amenities! Style and form were key elements to the design of the hotel and we really strive to bring life to the "garden"!

We hope to see you again soon.
