Was in Auburn for the ball game.
This is your typical small town sports bar.
It's cool that they used all the local teams colors, shirts, pics, etc for the decor instead of "professional leagues" teams.
The service was friendly.
The atmosphere is very casual and relax.
Prices are reasonnable.
Lots of different beers on tap and great selection overall.
I had the pull pork sandwich which was excellent.
I will probably eat here again when back in Auburn for an other DoubleDays ball game.

Last Thursday I stopped in a for a cold one what I found was a finally a place that is unpretentious yet carries a great selection of microbrews. Which was unheard of in Auburn a few years back. However most of the people at the bar were drinking Bud, Genny and Coors light. The owner is defiantly going against the ingrained traditions here. The menus is a varried as the beers from choose from. I could only eat one this so I had the
Masa Lucille's Recipe
Traditional marinara w/ a twist - plenty of romano cheese & real butter for a sauce like grandma used to serve and some fried meatballs. Out of the world yummy.

This place has a sports bar and separate restaurant. They have a good selection of salads, sandwiches, burgers (chicken, beef, turkey, or veggie), pizzas, and pastas. The food tasted fresh and homemade and the quality far exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

The Ale House is relatively new and as such has some growing pains to deal with. The waitstaff tends to be "learning", and they do learn well. The kitchen staff needs to pay a bit more attention to execution, but overall this is a pleasant family pub and sports bar. The owner is often on site and he is happy for feedback. Try it...you'll probably love it.
