“Exceptionallly good food, excellent service”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

Four of my friends and I ate at this restaurant by sheer accident. We had initially planned to have dinner at Oh My Gulay!, a supposedly popular restaurant for veggie freaks like me, and after struggling up 5 flights of stairs of an old building in Session Road to get to OMG, we were told that their place closes at 6:30PM (we got there at 6:25, sigh!). So while on our way down, disappointed and with grumbling stomachs, we chanced upon La Comida de Antonio Ristorante on the 4th floor of the same building – it looks like a little cozy place to relax while enjoying a good view of Baguio-by-night in the veranda, so in we went.

The restaurant served mostly Spanish and some Filipino dishes. I suppose they have singers on some nights by the looks of a ready mic and sound system in one corner. With the assistance of Amy (?), their Visayan waitress who was ever so accommodating, we ordered generous servings of broccoli-squash soup, cucumber-tomato salad, their special Chicken Antonio, and ribs with the best camote chips we ever tasted. The five of us rated all their dishes EXCELLENT, both in taste and presentation, for a total cost of less than P1,000. Yes we will surely go back to La Comida to taste their other dishes when we go back to Baguio DESPITE the painstaking climb up.

“Worth the climb.... NOT!”
Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

Location : very very old scary and smelly building and has no elevator.

Foods: crispy pork leg + crispy pork leg in Kare Kare sauce + deep fried chicken in weird tasting sauce + Callos + Burger = Heart Attack

We should have gone one more floor..

“It is worth the climb”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

Climbing 4 floors to get a breezy view of the city was totally worth it . The ribs and their specialty chicken made me forget about the stair climb . Don't expect a hotel restaurant ambiance so as not to be disappointed. The place is a traditional old house with that warm, cozy feeling that you would expect when you go to your Lola's house on a Sunday . Go there for the food, man ! Friendly service doesn't hurt either!
