We have unpleasant experience regarding request of documents, which up to now we didn't get. We requested our guest folio for our requirements as a supporting documents for our liquidation of our cash advances. Every time you talk to someone, they have different answers, they are not systematized on documents. This happens almost a 5 weeks from now which we requested 4 weeks from now.

My sister, her family & I together with my husband stayed at this hotel for only one night. The hotel was very close to Burnham Park, the Ukay-ukay market (where they sell pre-loved stuff), and several restaurants. It also interconnected with McDonalds. The staff smiled and greeted all the time. The breakfast was buffet and had several choices. The room was quite big. However, there was only one elevator so most of the time, you need to wait a long while to use it or just use the stairs. My neice found 2 cockroaches in their room, one alive and one dead. But i think, most hotels have that. Overall, I think the hotel was quite value for money.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights - the advantage of this hotel is that it is close to the Burnham Park which is a park that everyone must go to if you are ever in Baguio. Price was reasonable and we stayed in their family superior room on the 6th floor which also I think is the highest floor. You can see everything and you can also see the Burnham Park from this floor. The customer service was great although the only downfall is that I think they have not shampooed their carpet in a while because when we walked barefooted for 10 minutes, we looked at our feet and it was so dirty we had to buy thongs/slippers when walking on the carpet.

Their breakfast deal is also good and the fact that it comes with their deal/promotions is a good thing - their breakfast has a good variety and I thought their Mongolian Buffet meal was yummy and healthy - you get to choose the ingredients you want and they cook it for you!

Room Tip: * Ask for a room with window and if possible on the 6th floor - I think though that all standard roo...

The hotel nestled at the beating heart of Baguio City, almost everything is just a few minutes walk away. Price is at a great deal, but the necessity of once guest was not sacrificed. Stayed here for 2 times already and we still love the hotel's convenience for Ukay-ukay shoppers like us. Its amazing how the structure managed to eliminate the outdoor noise. We always love staying at Hotel Veniz cause of its location, we'll definitely keep coming back when we feel the urge of ukay-ukay and Market craze.

I was introduced to this hotel by way of a former officemate. Since she knew I was visiting Baguio again after how many years, she gave me a free overnight stay at Hotel Veniz.

I was with my young daughter at that time and we stayed in a standard room. We arrived in Baguio by 11am but we were not allowed to check in early. They offered to safe keep our luggage while we had our lunch outside. The hotel was fully-booked when we visited and there were a group who were trying to walk-in but were not accommodated. Check in was quick. Our room was at the 3rd floor and we had to use the stairs since elevator was always full. Our room had no view of the outside. It was an inner room. Aircon was running okay, no noise. Comfort room was decent. There were two single beds and a tv with cable. We stayed out most of the time and only returned to the hotel to sleep so having no view was not a big deal. And it was a blessing that we were not in a room with a view of the streets coz it can really get noisy.

The hotel was near everywhere! Burnham park was just across, the market was a few steps to the left of the hotel and was accessible through the foot bridge. Public transportation terminals were right outside the hotel so commuting was a breeze.

Breakfast buffet had a pretty decent selection. There was the usual eggs, hotdogs, fried fish, bread, fried rice selection. There was porridge (lugaw) too. For the kids, there were two kinds of cereals and milk. It was surprisingly yummy and hot too.

I recommend this hotel for travellers who are not so picky and would only stay in a hotel to sleep. Otherwise, stay in Camp John Hay area if you want luxury and peace and quiet.

Room Tip: I suggest that you ask for an inner room to avoid the noise of the busy street in front of the hotel...

We chose this hotel mainly on its location and the basis of the TripAdvisor reviews we read. The best thing about it is its location with parking underneath but there is a price to be paid for this: it can be very noisy if you have a front balcony room. But, if you do have one you can enjoy the hustle and bustle from the comfort of your balcony.
Rooms are spacious, especially if you have a larger one. There is a desk table two chairs and a modern plasma screen TV as well as air con. The bathroom was adequate with a good supply of hot water, if a little slow for bathtub users, and I would caution you to take care exiting the bath/shower as you could slip.
We ate in the Veniz grill for breakfast which had a good range of fairly average dishes but you will find something you like even if you are not Filipino. We tried it for lunch and it was reasonable value but we did not try it for its evening buffets as we were put off by some reviews. Fortunately you are never too far from a decent restaurant from this hotel.
WiFi was unreliable and disappointing on the sixth floor. If you want reliable communication from our room you really should get a carrier pigeon but that is our only real grumble about the hotel. Checking in and out was easy and the staff on the front desk were efficient and helpful. The other staff were what we had now come to expect in the Philippines: nice kids who were helpful and tried to please you rather than slick professionals.
All in all hotel Veniz was good, or rather very good, value for money and we would certainly stay there again. It is true that it is showing its age a bit but if you want shiny rooms and facilities you probably won’t get them at this price: you will have to pay double to get a four star establishment.

Room Tip: Decide if you want a balcony room as it can be a little noisy

Perfect location-located in the heart of Baguio, across Burnham Park,a few steps from the night and public market.you just dont feel the coolness of Baguio that much because its in the middle of the crowded city.Pastries in the hotel cafe are really good and they accept sodexo GC's as payment for everything thats inside the hotel.Checking in is a nightmare because it takes forever and the frontdesk staff needs to learn the meaning of "customer service".All the reviews about bad customer service of Hotel Veniz frontdesk staff are all true, even the foreign guest i talked to feel the same way. You're killing the tourism business of your city frontdesk staff!

Room Tip: "choose the executive suites in the 6th floor where you can see the whole city"
