“Unique little statues”

The statues in the cemetery are a whimsical collection of "graves". I enjoy this spot in one of the wooded hills in Camp John Hay. Used to be nicer when the Americans were still in charge.

“Letting go of your bad sides”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014

I enjoyed checking out the tombs representing the origins and causes of bad situations - also a means to symbolically leaving there what's negatively bugging you.

“Overcoming Negativities”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013

Finally, after many visits to Baguio, I had set foot on this cemetery. I had longed to visit this site when I caught it on a show and found out you could unload negativities-I sure have been undergoing some with a friend's sudden death. I just knew I could pour out something on this lot and the Baguio trip was the opportunity for it.

This lot was part of the Bell House attraction and it is one of your first stops. I had thought wrong that it was a pet cemetery, just because the tombstones were of animals usually associated as pets. The writings on the tombstones were a play on life's miseries and going over each one along the trail would help let out your take on your life. By the time you've gone over all the tombstones, you would be refreshed and revitalized to take on life in a new light. Just as I felt giddy and light-hearted when I emerged from the walk.

So if ever, you are amidst life's burdens, walk through this lot, immerse, get lost with its puns and shake it all off here.

“A unique find at Camp John Hay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

It was funny that there was a way to bury their negative emotions and miseries for some people at a time where there was not much to do to unload heavy feelings.

The entrance fee for this place includes a visit to Gen Bell's house.
