If you want a special restaurant that you can bring your visitors in Baguio.

It has different ambiance from other barrio fiesta branches. Authentic Filipino food and the place itself, It is in the city but the view is refreshing.

Parking is only the problem, but there is always guard to guide you.

Barrio Fiesta is known for the Filipino local cuisines. Came here on the recommendation of a friend. Located at Igorot Stairs, Upper Session Road, Baguio city which is slightly hard to find, but we managed to get there. In front of the restaurant you will see several statues of the Igorot people. Inside is cosy and nicely decorated. We had Kare-kare, Crispy pata, Lechon kawali and Hipon sinigang for lunch. Love it alot.

Where do I begin?

We arrived and wanted to sit by a window. The staff led us to a table off to the far left (as you enter) which faced a window. Soon after we were seated, we were overwhelmed by a pungent stench of urine. We brought it to the waiter's attention and asked to be seated elsewhere. We decided to get as far away from the urine stench as possible and decided to sit in the back atrium room, also next to a window. So-new table-problem solved-right? Not even close. We had to ask for new plates and utensils as ours were visibly dirty with residue and dried food. After we ordered, my stepson noticed that the tissues in the dispenser had visible mold on them. Does ANYONE care about cleanliness and sanitation here??

In reflection I realized I should have left without ordering. My mistake. So we ordered a good variety of food to include two orders of large grilled shrimp. One of the more expensive items on their menu. When the shrimp arrived, it was over-cooked which caused the shrimp meat to stick to the shells. The flavor was COMPLETELY bland. It tasted as if they simply placed the shrimp on a grill with ZERO seasoning. No butter, no garlic, no salt-nothing.

We were so collectively disappointed with our food, that we went to another restaurant just to get some satisfaction.
