“Great home made products from the nunnery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

Very nice location. The Convent is known throughout the country for their fantastic products. I LOVE the jams and Peanut Brittle. If you're lucky, you might get a tour of the compound. American President Teddy Roosevelt stayed there, along with with Forbes, and eventually the head of the Japanese forces. Nice Zen Garden for the nuns to enjoy.

“Buy souvenirs for a cause”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2012

Good Sheperd Convent produces delicious delicacies and jams and at the same time they are doing an important service to the population of the Cordillera. The Convent operates a training center where people can learn skills they can use to generate income. So buy products of the Good Sheperd Convent and support their public service.

“Baguio Pasalubong at its Finest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2012

Nothing special about the place, in fact you can skip the walking-around. There's also much more to Good Shepherd than their infamous Ube Jam. My favorite is their snowballs while some of my friends prefer the Alfajor. Both are really really good pasalubongs. You can forget about anything else, but not those three I've mentioned. You'll never get them as good just about anywhere else.

“Ube Jam to die for!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2012

Whether in Baguio City or Tagaytay City, the Good Shepherd Convent is a place to find the best Ube Jam you will ever taste. All time favorites are also here: Mango jam, bottled tawilis sardines, peanut brittle, and angel cookies. And don't fail to try their Gugo shampoo for healthy and shiny hair.
