“Native Village”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

This is a small village of the original natives of Baguio. It felt more like a small park. We walked around, looked at a few artifacts, and then our tour was done. If your into culture and " indian style " artifacts then you should visit Tam-awan Village, if your not, then I would suggest skipping this place.

“Slippery slopes”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

The paths were not maintained and made our tour of the village a very slippery one. The bathrooms were very dirty. It was an ok attraction to see but I would not go here again.

“Learning trip”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

I have visited this some years back but had to return for a balikbayan friend's sake. Am happy to note that it has improved. We were lucky to have Jerwin, our tour guide for the day. He shared with us the Mountain Province culture, giving information, sampling us with music and taking very good pictures. We had very limited time as we are about to return to Manila on the same day but I would surely go back with my children to have an overnight stay in one of the native houses.

“Art and Ecology Wed in a Delightful Nature's Park”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

Even if it does commercial activities and is run like a business, one does not feel robbed because there is so much to engage in while inside the park. Though not for the faint-limbed and elderly, the trip through the park is a literal breath of fresh air in a very congested mountain city like Baguio. The place is a friend to artists of all persuasions, known or aspiring and makes no bones about protecting heritage and the environment. And Tam-awan succeeds. A little regular sprucing up and it will draw even more visitors.

“An experience from the past”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

I missed this place when we last visited Baguio, so when our tour guide cum taxi driver mentioned about Tam-Awan village, so we said yes we'd like to go. So there is an entrance fee of a very minimal amount. Once you get inside, you'll go around at your own risk, since some parts of the village are unsafe with no handrails or warning signs. We don't have the chance to see what is inside the Ifugao houses since it's occupied. A nice experience still of how you live a life in the past.
