“Empty; but a good look at Ifugao architecture”

This is not a living museum. It's a bunch of Ifugao structures scattered over a hill, with a nice gift shop. It's cool to see the building, but not much else is going on. If you want to see a cultural show, do crafts, or wear traditional clothing you have to pay a lot extra. Worth the trip if not for the views from the village.

Although this attraction had quite a lot of visitors - 95 per cent Filipino or Filipino descent 'balikbayans' (holidaying emigrants) - the place had a general rundown look. It has numerous stairs built into the rock so the disabled could not see it.

Admittance is P50 for adults, but less for seniors and students.

There is a cafe, some tribal huts and maybe some interpretive talks but I was not there for the latter. Parking availability is minimal.

Except for the View Deck 2 at the uppermost part of the Village (that does not need any maintenance), the entire place is worn out, unkept and dirty. Most tourists visit the place for the BenCab gallery and the different art media.

My hubby and my son stayed mostly at the upper view deck to enjoy the cool breeze of Baguio and the sunlit lush green mountain slopes ( a little of what's left in Baguio).

The Cordilleran abodes were mostly worn out, the trails going up were not safe anymore. Most parts are slippery and the bamboo railings were old and broken.Trash everywhere while some visitors desecrate the area by bringing additional trash. It could be a good attraction if the caretakers care enough to clean the place. It's an insult to BenCab and his art.

Over-all, nothing significant except for the cool breeze at the Upper Deck 2. The most exciting part is the ascent to the Dream Catcher area and Upper View Deck.
Entrance Fee is Php50 for adults and Php30 for students.

If you want to learn the old tribal life of the Igorot's, you go to this sort of park. Tribe style old house exists and a small museum too. Lovely place for Tribal research and study.
