We stayed in Casa Vallejo last February 22-25, 2014 for the Panagbengga 2014. We arrived on February 22, at 5am, too early to check in at Casa Vallejo. We went to the hotel so we could leave our bags in the lobby for us to take our breakfast. We were able to witness the street dance parade and the flower float parade in the balcony of the hotel. The hotel was quite old but still well maintained. It is considered as a part of Baguio heritage. The hotel lobby is big enough to accommodate some guests waiting for the check in time or use the free wi-fi there. We had a standard room which can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. Since there were three adults in the room, I requested for an extra bed with additional charges. Since breakfast was included in the room rate two of us were able to avail it and an additional charge for the extra person. They only have two choices for their set breakfast, Pinoy breakfast and Continental breakfast. The hotel has an electric fan, lcd tv, table, cabinet and the standard bathroom amenities. The staff were attentive, courteous and helpful. The hotel is near SM Baguio and a walking distance to some places in Session Rd. The hotel lacks a restroom that the waiting guests can use while still in the lobby. The hotel lacks a restroom that the waiting guests can use while still in the lobby. They said that there is a restroom in the hotel restaurant but unfortunately it was locked at the time of our visit. However, a staff allowed us to use the restroom in the room that they used as a temporary storage. The reception of the lcd tv in our room was not clear. Some channels had poor reception but one of the staff tried to fix it by adjusting their cable system but it was not possible probably due to the cable connection ftom the outlet to the lcd tv. The firmness of the bed was good enough but not the pillows. Although, there were some negative observations during our stay in the hotel, we still enjoyed our time in Casa Vallejo. People can choose it if they want to have a good view of the activities for the Panagbengga festival.More
