Our family has made going up to Baguio for the Panagbenga Festival (last weekend of February) a yearly tradition. It was our second year of watching the Street Dancing and Float Parades from the porch of Casa Vallejo. Good vantage point of the parade, and the hotel staff are strict about restricting access to the porch to hotel guests. Good location along Upper Session Road. Parking is available at the back entrance (along Leonard Wood road) but it can become tight at times. We opted to leave our car in the parking lot and just walk to attractions nearby because of this. The hotel has two floors, the 1st floor being the one at street level, and the 2nd floor in the basement level. We stayed in the family room which consists of two double beds, with a window facing the back of the property. Street noise can be a bit loud in the daytime and but it tones down later at night. Also, if staying at the 2nd level, you might hear the footfalls of the guests in the upper levels during the daytime. Rooms have free wi-fi access. They are not airconditioned (but come with a ceiling fan), so I imagine that the rooms could get hot in the daytime during the summer months. Aside from the guest rooms, part of the hotel building houses a good restaurant/coffee shop (Hill Station), a nice book shop (Mt. Cloud Book Shop) and a decent spa (North Haven Spa). One thing I noticed is that the hotel is not wheelchair-friendly because it's full of staircases. You need to take the stairs between floors, to the dining area and to the parking lot. If travelling with someone in a wheelchair or with elders, it will be a problem.
