“Weekend Vacation”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

We stayed in the hotel from April 12-14 and overall it was a good experience. The rooms look a bit old. The heater in the bathroom of the first room we stayed at was not working and when we told them about it, someone tried to fix but after awhile, it stopped functioning again. Good thing, we got to transfer in another room. The hotel staff made the stay worthy. I would like to specifically cite the staff of restaurant/cafe and guards who were all friendly and very accomodating. 'Thank you!

Room looks a bit old but is ok....not enough parking space inside the property...the heater in the bathroom was not working....their solution?!.....they opened another room for us to use its bathroom ( how inconvenient)....so i called up front desk to demand they transfer us to another room......would have been better if they did that in the first place instead of letting us use another room's bathroom as a temporary solution. On the other hand, food is great.......the staff in the restaurant are friendly

Pros:
Hotel staff was very accommodating! Great food at reasonable price. Nice location!

Cons:
The room is quite small. No hairdryer available in the room, no coffee pot and no newspaper in the morning!

The over all is excellent except for the unapproachable lady at the reception the day we arrived. We came from a long trip and she suppose to be accommodating whoever she is. Anyway we enjoyed our stay in our room, thanks for the accommodating people!

I bought two de luxe rooms for a couple of friends from a group buying site. Buyers watch out! Breakfast was ala carte & politely, forgettable. The reservation desk was nice but reservation is not a breeze-- one is required to scan and send his voucher before one is given a reservation unlike in other hotels where one reserves and simply show up. The contact number provided in the group buying site belongs to a chemical plant! The photos of the rooms being promoted showed well-kept, spacious regular de luxe hotel rooms, a good gift. But my friends, both doctors, who were the recipients of my gift, tell me they were placed in the attic because "the hotel was booked". Awww!!! Not fair since I made the reservations a week ahead. There should be truth in advertising and customers should get what the photos are promoting. Full disclosure was absent. I thought it was value for money, I was wrong. For once a gift turns up embarrassing. Caveat emptor

my family really love the place, they are so accommodating. rooms are a bit spacious. its a bit far from session road (center of Baguio) but very near to mines view park, good shepherd, wright park, the mansion, and botanical garden.

Room Tip: request an overlooking room, perfect for sunrise and sunset view.

We were here in February 2011 only for an overnight stay. Got a promo voucher from a group buying site. We actually booked the previous night in another accommodation nearer the city proper. We've re-booked the dates several times but the staff is very friendly and very patient with each changes. Luckily, we're able to agree to a date, though with much difficulty as it coincided with Panagbenga Week.

They were fully booked at that time so we were advised that it might take quite a while before we can check in. Since they're just a walking distance from the Mines View Park and Good Shepherd, we decided to go shopping for pasalubongs first. That actually saved us time and the staff agreed to bring our luggage to the room once it's ready.

Our de luxe room has just enough space for the 4 of us, the beds are comfortable. They have all the amenities, although internet connection is intermittent and there's no signal inside the room. You have to go out in the hallway or go down to the restaurant. Not very convenient at all. The offer also comes with plated breakfast and it is delicious. It's just a pity that it's not buffet since they only have few guests that day.

The view is fantastic from our balcony and weather is perfect! We would definitely coming back.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the 3rd floor as the views are incredible.
