“No late check outs for this hotel”
Reviewed April 28, 2012

We got a 2 days 1 night offer from Cash Cash Pinoy for Deluxe Room for 4. We planned a backpacking trip since we will be visiting Tarlac and Manaoag too. We were able to arrive late at around 9:00 pm on day 1, so that is already 1 day thrown away. We ordered food from the hotel since it's already late and we were already tired. The food was average although the chicken pork adobo we ordered has more pork fat than meat. We requested for replacement, which they did. That same night we requested for a late check out the ff day (for 2pm) which they didn't allow. We just didn't argue, instead booked with another hotel for 1 more day. Little did they know it was just a way of checking how good they accommodate visitors, we could have extended our day anew.

My family and I recently stayed at Mines View Park just last week. We took 3 rooms- my husband and I checked in first at our de luxe room - carpet is not that cleaned, it must have been quickly readied just before we checked in. there was no complimentary water not even coffee or sugar and shampoo in the bathroom, there were only 2 towels on the rack. worst when time to use the drinking glasses I found lipstick mark on the rim of one of the glasses. I called the reception to have the glasses changed, then a lady called me back and told me that it wasnt a lipstick mark but the hotels marking on their glasses. I told her to come upstairs to show her the glass I am referring to.

Next day - the rooms was cleaned very much different when we first came in. Housekeeping has improved. There was coffee, cream, sugar sachets, and complete bath towels in the bathroom

I've been in Baguio just 2 days ago, Feb 23-Feb 24 just took an overnight stay in this hotel. The location is well centered cause its near from the famous mines view park. The place is still serene and the weather is good. The service is the best. I'm not sure on their advertising cause I only saw the hotel on CashCashPinoy website as they are sellling a lot of deals varying from accomodations, food and etc. The one thing that strikes me most is the price. CCP offered to as low as P1,400 per night including breakfast for 2 in the morning. What else can you judge? I tried to have a reservation on the day of Baguio's famous "Panagbenga Festiva" (Flower Festival) as they couldnt make arrangements due to heavy volume of people that will be staying there but still their service is the best as I made arrangements with them to buy me a flower bouquet for my girlfriend to celebrate our Valentine's Day. The room is not that small and not that big. Let me go back into the pricing as the published rate for this one is P3,500. They also have P2,800/room so it is okay. The room designed has 2 Single Beds but upon seeing it, the beds are quite big and it is possible that it is a queen size bed so it can accomodate a group of 4. The bathroom is clean. No aircon of course but the weather is terrific and so cold in the early morning. They offered good and well designed breakfast. Overall everything went good however the original price is still tantamount as you can check on others that can fit your needs but their service is the best as they accept most arrangements when needed. Thank you Mines View Park Hotel!

Room Tip: the room which has 2 single beds stated is big and it looks like 2 queen size beds but it can only b...

we have stayed in this hotel twice and it has not disappointed. aside from clean crisp sheets and very warm & friendly staff (from check-in to check-out), you'll love that their location is quite near mines view park (for that last minute shopping) yet so quiet especially at nightime, that you'll get a very restful sleep. i like that the rooms we stayed in looked out to the mountains so we had excellent view in the mornings. room size was good enough and fair for the number of occupants they allow.

if you plan to bring your own vehicle, make sure that it's conditioned to make the steep (and i mean steep) climb up their entrance. although you do have the option to park it on the "safe" side street of the hotel, which is good since they have limited (only around 4 if i remember correctly) parking spaces within the hotel compound. we brought 2 cars, 1 we parked inside and the other outside, we didn't lose anything so i guess it's ok to park outside too.

anyways, definitely my top baguio hotel.

Room Tip: choose the rooms facing the mountains. stay away from the rooms near the water tank.

I can't write enough about this gem of a hotel. From the minute we checked in, the hotel staff were most helpful and cheerful, and most went out of their way to anticipate our needs. That set the tone for what would be a perfect family vacation for our group, whose ages ranged from 1 to 72 years old. I would rate the hotel facilities 3*, and it is arguably one of the cleanest, best hotel accommodations in Baguio, rivalled only by the steeply priced log cabins in this mountain city. Hence, impeccable staff service will be the best selling feature of the hotel, followed oh so closely by its great restau. Everything we tried on the hotel's menu across four days did not disappoint! Their specialty is bibingcrepe, a fluffy rice cake with the consistency of pancakes, but I loved the bibingcrisp version more - a thin, crispy wafer. Their pancakes almost melt in your mouth, while the bulalo or beef broth with baguio's famed fresh vegetables was perfect for the cold climate. We went back to the hotel for lunch and dinner even though we were already in various parts of the city during the day!!! Yes, we went home to home-cooked meals and perfect butler service from Buddy.

Every night there was a bed turn down (fresh towels artfully folded into elephants or kissing swans) and complimentary hot choco or hot tea. Double deluxe rooms came with two double beds that comfortably sleeps two tall adults or two kiddos with one parent. With just the pine scent-filled air and no city traffic, each night was a peaceful night even for my 1-1/2 year old baby who slept, well, like a baby on our first night :)

Mines View Park is a must-see destination in Baguio, and it was just one minute away from the hotel by car, walking distance who do not mind climbing steep roads -- Baguio after all is a mountain province! Talk about convenience for souvenir shopping on your very last day. There is also a spa in front of the hotel, and the hotel itself has an accredited 24-hour in-room massage.

I will go back to this hotel with kids and grandparents all over again. What a find!!!
