It was raining cats and dogs when we went to Baguio last May. We were stranded for 15 hours in Tarlac due to floods caused by typhoons. We left Manila at 12MN, Sunday and we arrived at Baguio at 2:30pm, Monday. It was indeed a very long travel hours. Very unsual compared to the normal 6-8 hours.
We had our lunch at MXt, SM Baguio. We were welcomed by the friendly manager/owner and her staff. We ordered soup as a started since it was very, very cold. The soup was really soup-erb.
It really staisfies our empty stomach for more than 15 hours.
Then we ordered some really hearty and nutritious meal - chopsuey rice and sizzling beef. It was really a satistying and filling meal.
They also offered for a house tea - of course free of charge! Wasnt that great?
On our second day, we went there for a late snack and early dinner. We both ordered for a noodle soup (Beef Wanton Brisket)
It was a huge serving so we decided to split it into two. We also ordered for a special siopao( again good for two).
Satisfying and filling meal at a friendly price. The mager offered for their house tea - our favorite which compesanted Baguio';s cool weather.
Truly, MXT is more than just a tea house. It's a total dimsum experience!
