I've booked the Gia supreme of Bloomfield Hotel, for we were supposed to be nine in our trip to Baguio on Feb. 2-3, unfortunately our number reduced to six (6) pax. The Gia room of Bloomfield is not actually within the Bloomfield hotel or near its vicinity. There is a need for a vehicle to bring you to the villa. The Gia itself is big enough to accommodate up to twelve (12) pax. Unfortunately, its amenities are lacking. There is no microwave oven and the kitchen is dark, there being no overhead lights or lights within the area. The only lights is within the living room and dining room. Further, the mirrors in all rooms are broken. It is broken, for there were dark streaks already in the mirror, giving it a creepy feeling whenever you look at it. I suggest that the management replaced it and add lights specially in the kitchen area. Although you are booked in bloomfield hotel, there is no room service. No telephone too in the villa, for emergency purposes or to call the reception of the hotel. Thus, I wondered why the receptionist gave me a calling card to call, for there is no telephone connecting to the villa. Wifi is also not available. Definitely, it is not wise to get the Gia supreme of Bloomfield hotel or its villa.

Room Tip: Definitely choose a room within the bloomfield hotel. Don't use their villas. Their 5-10 minut...

The hotel staff are very accomodating to the point of calling us up (being late for our check in) to ask our estimated time of arrival. We had been in on the road to Baguio for the whole day and had been late checking in. They were even cordial and patient enough to teach us the route to the hotel once we arrived in Baguio for we couldn't easily find the hotel though they're just near Session Road.

The hotel's location proved to be an advantage for it provided us convenience to just walk along Session Road to reach the dining area of our choice, walk to Baguio Cathedral or even climb to the biggest mall in the area.

Parking is limited and you have to go valet for convenience. Their dining area is small but the place is very homey. I just love their Filipino Breakfast of tocino and they do have lots of choices for their Filipino and American Breakfast.

We got a room good for 4 with a living room in tow which was a surprise and a delight for us family. Wifi too is available in all rooms.

The facilities of this hotel are not at par with the bigger hotels in the area so one would say that it is expensive (no garden, no gym, no pool, no function area). Breakfast was not buffet either but just a plated serving of either Filipino or American food... not a big serving and just sufficient for one with a small appetite. The food came with the morning papers which somehow completed the breakfast experience. The parking area is small as well and the narrow sloping road that leads to it is rather difficult to maneuver. The hotel is homey and the service is excellent which somehow made up for the hotel's limitations. The front-desk personnel were solicitous in giving directions to the different attractions and even provided us with maps of the city...the hotel is very tourist friendly!

The staff were good, and the location was fantastic (right in the heart of Baguio). The room we had was in "the basement", which was a little too dark but not that bad. So I'd go for a room on the higher levels if available. The wifi was really good, much better than most of the other hotels I've stayed in. The only downside was that it's quite pricey.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms in the basement.

Hotel staff was very accommodating even on the phone when inquiring re features. They always have a ready smile to everyone. They give you a claim stub when you leave your things with them if you arrive early and room isn't ready yet. The receptionist even came over our table at Cafe Sorelle . their in-house coffee shop) to inform us that we can check in already even if it's still 30mins b4 check in time. room was okay with balcony, although bed was a bit harder than hotel45's. There was an anti-slip mat in the shower, no toothbrush/toothpaste. both bedside lamps are busted. There should be more hanger in the closet. better to chose rooms that face the back since front faces busy street and traffic noise isn't conducive to sleep even at night specially those revving motorcycles. there is a/c but we didn't use it since it was cold.Breakfast was okay but their tapa isn't authentic. I would have preffered a thicker blanket too.

Room Tip: choose back room, quieter.

Bloomfield Hotel is right at the top of Session Road, making it the perfect location for kicking off your Baguio getaway.

The hotel looks new and the rooms are well-maintained, but it's right beside a busy road so our al-fresco breakfast was rushed to escape the smog and noise. Sad :(

It's also right beside the charming Mt. Cloud bookstore and Casa Vallejo so that was a welcome treat.

Parking is limited, but there is valet parking, so that shouldn't be a problem. And there's free wifi in all the rooms. Big, big plus.
