We are 2 and we just travelled from Puno to Copacabana. We have a 2 day stop over @ Copacabana and then we continue to La paz. We were just lazy to check the ticket prices from Puno-La paz on our own in Puno, so we just paid the amount quoted(55s/pP) by Inca Lake-Mr. Hugo. The cost includes the transfer from hostel to bus station and an Info session about immigration at Bolivian border. Later we found out in the bus to Copacabana, that ppl have spent just 30s/pP with the same bus company. In Puno the taxi costs 5s to go almost everywhere inside the city. And, you get all the information about immigration in the bus. We found the prices with Inca Lake to be way too elevated. So instead of paying 60+5 soles, we ended up paying 110 soles for two. So we recommend to get the tickets directly from Puno bus station. It just takes 15 mins.

Dear customer, please read lines below an let me explain you a little bit what we do.

Booking bus tickets to Copacabana and La Paz through us implies that:

- We guarantee availavilty. We don't go the same day to buy your tickets, we do it at least with 2 weeks in advance (what happen if there's no availability that day?)
- We buy your tickets in advance (As well as you, we need transport to go to bus station for buying your tickets in advance for having it ready when you arrive)
- We deliver bus tickets to your hotel (night before your trip for getting sure you have them and don't worry about them)
- We don't send you alone to the bus station. You go with a scort guide Spanish/English that accompany you to the same bus, verifying that all is ok, helping you with luggage and solving all your doubts you have before leave (we don't want you to get lost, asking to people where are the gates, where you need to get embarkation tickets, and others doubt you can have)
- It's not just taking a taxi that day rasising the hands in the streets. We program an auto in advance to be ready in an exact hour waiting for you to taking you to the bus station. (What happen if there's no taxis at that hour and you arrive late to the bus station? or taxi driver is rude with you?).
- Preferential seats. Seats booked through Inca Lake are in the left side (view to the lake, so you can enjoy much more your trip to Copacabana or La Paz with really nice landscapes)
- Information for passsing through Bolivia. Yes, we give you all the information you'll need for getting into Bolivia Side. On internet you can find a lot of complaints about this trip, but we think is for lacking of information. Travelling to Bolivia from Puno is really fun and enjoyable if you have all the information for doing it.

And just to mention, You have taken two differents services on different dates.

We're sorry and we apologize that your experience in Inca Lake was not what you had hoped,

Thanks for giving us your opinion, we're always eager to hear what you liked or not and how we might improve.

We had a private morning tour to Amaru Muru (Hayu Marca) and an afternoon tour to the Uros Islands, both booked through Inca Lake. Both were well organized and guides were knowledgeable. We recommend Inca Lake for well organized and affordable tour options.

We arrived via bus to Puno at 4:30am and left for our day tour to the Uros and Taquile Islands that same day. Hence, we did not meet with Hugo or someone from Inca Lake the night before.

However, a van arrived to our hotel shortly after 7am as planned. Although we had booked through Inca Lake, the tour we were put on was run by Cusi Expeditions. They gave us the rate we had negotiated with Hugo from Inca Lake, including lunch and island entrance fees, so we didn't worry about it. It seemed that most people's tours did not include lunch, and we heard of no one paying less than we did for the tour (everyone seemed to have booked through at least 3 different companies), so booking through Inca Lake worked out for us. The tour was given in both Spanish and English, but the guide's English was really good and he was actually pretty informative and comical.

Our tour was on a covered boat, but I would still recommend sunscreen. Everyone had a seat inside, but up to 6 people could stand on the roof at one time of they wanted.

Honestly I was initially talking to edgaradventures for their services, but theire email communication is so slow and slopyy that I got frustrated and turned to Inca lake.
And i was not disapointed. We arrived 8:00pm in our hotel in puno and our trip-organizer hugo was already there waiting. The trip to lake titicaca was nice: boat-ride was not too slow, the guide was nice and personable, what we saw on the floating island and the taquilia island was very interesting (a bit touristic tough). The turist bus to Cusco (by Turismo Mer) on the next day was also to our satisfaction: safe drive, nice guide and interesting sites.

I requested 4 prices from different tour companies while traveling from Juliaca to our hotel at Lake Titicaca. Hugo was recommended through Travel Advisor so we were comfortable with the positive feedback. We received fast and fair prices within 24 hours via email prior and during our stay. Although we had some difficulties during our travel from the airport to the hotel due to a strike and language barrier issues(spanish speaking driver), once Hugo arrived everything was ok. We had also requested him to set up a tour on our 2 hour car ride back to the airport the day before leaving. Everything was arranged and we had a wonderful private car, boat, and tour guide of Uros Islands prior to coming home.
