Restaurant was a great choice for mid priced diners who can't choose one specific cuisine. The mix of pizza and Peruvian was helpful especially for those traveling with big groups. The restaurant could use a better ventilation system as I found that the restaurant really felt smoky from the wood fire oven.

Great location on the Plaza de Armes opposite the church, not that obvious and you have to go up some stairs. They do a good length menu with plenty of choice but not too long. Dishes we really liked where:

- Quinoa salad starter, fresh and yummy with some Andean cheese sneaking through
- Chicken and avocado salad starter, good size and tasty
- Pizzas, the only time in a month in Peru I have really enjoyed a pizza!
- Steak with quinoa risotto, came rare as requested, great meat and lovely risotto!

They are not perfect, our lasagne on the first night never turned up and they gave us the wrong dish once but both were quickly resolved, they are hot on customer service which is not that usual in Peru. Bolonese needed to be richer with some tomatoes.

Good wine selection. Staff deserve a special mention, cheerful and obviously enjoy working there ( many Peruvian waiting staff are a bit miserable perhaps from being underpaid?).

Highly recommend, not on the level of Cusco restaurants but outstanding in Puno.

We found this place on tripadvisor. Thankfully, we try not to compare too much, as the restaurants in Cusco are much better. However, we thought in comparison to other Puno restaurants this one had much more to offer. They also have a nice mix of plates to try, causas, salads, pizzas, etc.

We used trip advisor to find this restaurant and were not disappointed. Unfortunately we didn't make a booking so when we showed up had to wait 20 minutes for a table as they were very busy. We set our timer and went out exploring the night time shopping and when we returned out table was ready. We were quite hungry and made the mistake of ordering an appetizer, and two mains then struggling to finish it which was very sad as it was yummy! The meal sizes here and in Peru in general are quite big and the prices are deceiving so my suggestion is order less then you can always order more if you are still hungry.

We had the ham and cheese bites to start and they came with a dipping sauce, good but piled high and very filling. We also had the trout causa (pictured), this was a good sized portion, very well presented, fresh and super tasty. In addition we ordered the Lomo Saltada, again tasty but huge!!

The warm coca energy drink/tea (I can't remember what it was called though it had honey in it) was very nice as were the pisco sour's.

Nice atmostphere, good food, I would recommend this to my friends travelling to Puno.
