This is a bar/restaurant on the beach. Canadians heaven. Good food, great service and super owners. Good for sandwiches or full meals.

I would say this is just another beach bar. We were there three times - for a change from the resort. We had fun - a couple people in our group got up and jammed with the band, we were able to watch the Edmonton Oiler hockey game. Everett was very nice - came over and talked to us. But other then that just another bar

I had gotten some tips from TA about Anton Valley and Ya Ya falls so I was really excited to do both tours. I wanted to get a private tour to Anton Valley because you could do the mud bath and to eat at a special restaurant or see the pyrglifics and you don’t get this on thru the resort tour. Thru Woodies the cost was $65 and the resort it was $50 so to me the $15 was worth it. Many people on TA recommended to book at Woody's to get this and because you would have a smaller group instead of a large bus load. We have booked a private tour when we went to Costa Rica and loved it so we decided to do the same here. Since we got in late on Thursday we went down the beach (to the right facing the ocean) a little bit to Woody's to book our private tour. We got there around noon and Monique was so drunk she could hardly stand and talk. We went to the bar tender to book our tour and he had to call to her at least 5-6 times to get her attention to get us booked. He ended up writing us down in the note pad for the next day to do the Anton Valley tour with 4 other people. He told us that we could pay that morning and to be at the bar by 9:00 am. The next morning my husband and I walked down the beach to Woodys and got there by 8:40 to make sure we were early enough. The bar was locked up and nobody except the dogs were around. We heard that Monique lived there so we jiggled the gates to make some noise to see if someone was in a back room or around that we could not see and nobody came out even with the dogs barking. We tried to go around to the front but could not get thru, other buildings on the sides are gated and fenced in. Finally the cleaning lady either woke up or came to work but she came to the gate to tell us they were closed. We told her were there for a tour so she finally woke Monique up and let us in. Monique was surprised the tour guide was not there yet but she checked and we were scheduled along with the other 4 so we waited. It was weird that the other people that were scheduled were not there either. Finally by about 9:25 she made a phone call. Here, the tour guide picked up the other 4 at the front of the bar, never checked the back to see if there was anyone else waiting and left without us. I am not sure why this happened, if we should have been told to meet in the front, if Monique was supposed to call to let him know there was 6 of us or if the guide forgot to check the paperwork but all I know if that we missed out on the extra stuff because of this.

You can get a taste of home eating here. They have poutine, burgers, chicken wings, and beer from Canada. Looking at the ocean it's about 5 min. to your right.

We went there for a afternoon visit last September and enjoyed a friendly drink with the locals. Nice cold beer. looking forward to seeing the new premises when we return to Decameron at end of Feb. Hoping to see Monique and Woody this time as we missed them before. Loved all the sports shirts and money pinned up. Nice atmosphere.
