“One of the best trails in the Boquete area.”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

Great modest hike. You can find rare birds and sometimes Howler Monkeys. Terrific waterfall in the canyon at the end of the trail.

“Nice Level Hike”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

If you've done the Three Waterfall hike which is nearby, you'll find that this hike is significantly easier. But! Be quiet and you might see a quetzal bird. It is a wonderful hike through the jungle and well-worth the time and effort.

“A relaxing stroll”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

Very easy hike, good for early morning bird watching. I saw a quetzal and it's not even quetzal season. The old growth trees are impressive. The waterfall at the end did not have much water since it's the dry season, so the highlight of the trail to me was probably the quetzal.

“Large Trees.”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

There are large trees here that are really cool to see. There is a large waterfall at the end that is nice too see. Trail is pretty easy to do. Don't need hiking gear or skills to complete.

“Wonderful jungle trail”
Reviewed December 25, 2013

Directly off the "main road" this straightforward, simple trail was a wonderful delight. Multiple crossings of lovely jungle streams, great fauna, one of the largest and oldest trees in Central America, all capped by a beautiful waterfall. Even with many picture stops took about 2 hours.
