The location is a bit off the beaten path, it is located across from the Palo Alto School. The actual building is a rugged looking rustic place with an indoor dining area as well as outdoor tables. There were six of us. We each had something different. The Chicken Cordon Blu was what the younger folks enjoyed. My husband had a smoked tuna steak over pasta, I had a filet mignon, and the other two guests had a different entrée. The food was good, the prices were average for the type of meals we chose, the filet mignon was $10.00. We had some wine. The ambience was lacking , table covering was old. It was fairly dark inside and not terribly clean looking. Service as average as well as the desserts, A chocolate mousse pie or the banana foster.
