I was acting as a guide for a friend of mine who came from Europe and during our tour of Panama we stopped by in Boquete (without reservations) for 2 nights. The choice is broad but the prices tend to be on the high side for most. At the Tourist Center they recommended us this new country inn and were totally satisfied with the price/quality (at least prices in 2010).
We were the only guests during those days (low season) but the receptionist (Elizabeth) was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were top of the class, The friend of mine had troubles with the hot water but I didn't.
Breakast was fantastic and usually served by Elizabeth and the lively owner of the country Inn. Both were fantastic and we didn't have ANY complain at all, there was wireless internet, tv all you could need.
I only recommend you have a car because it is situated in "high Boquete" so if you want or need to go to the center of town (where you will most likely want to walk around and visit) you will need a car or walk a kilometer or two. Other than that TOP CHOICE. Would I stay there again, most definitely if I travel by car.
