We have been to Big Daddys now more than once because the food is wonderful. The restaurant is run by Larry and his personable wife Elizabeth who are both great people. Larry knows his fish, he knows where they came from and he knows how to cook them! My favorite dish is the grilled tuna sandwich which comes with side dishes of cole slaw/fries-a good value. As a parent I can also say that this is a great place for kids/families. The location on the main street is perfect for locals and tourists alike.

What a happy surprise! We happened across Big Daddy's Grill while walking in downtown Boquete and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and fast service. There are a lot of items to choose from on the menu, but we had the "specials"... Filet Mignon Sandwich and a lightly blackened, Grilled Tuna sandwich. The bread was yummy and both entrees came with lots of extras... Fries or Beans and Rice, plus Cole Slaw, etc. So we didn't leave hungry, that's for sure. Considering the amount of food we ate, and the fact that we had two of the most expensive things on the menu, $7.95 was very fair. But there were much less expensive items to choose from. The other surprise? Because it was raining, which it does often in the Panama highlands, the waitress told us our drinks were "Happy Hour" prices! The next time we are there we are going to try the Corn Dogs!
