This place reminds you of a little French cafe and as such, we had to have the french onion soup which was very tasty. Our entrees were very good as well and we had to have a dessert crepe which was amazing. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how our dinner was and we ended up chatting with him for awhile. Very interesting fellow and we like the added touch of an owner taking the time to visit with their guests. We will be back.

A cute and cozy restaurant in the hills of Boquete, nice artwork around the place, the food was delicious and not pricey at all. Crepes of all kinds, salads were huge and delicious. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a well kept secret that needs to be let out of the bag. Friends and I have had many meals here and we have never been disappointed. The decor is colorful, service great and the food so memorable. Do yourself a favor and try Art Cafe soon.

We stopped here for a warm up coffee on a rainy November day and liked it enough to come back a couple of hours later for Thanksgivings Day (US) & my birthday dinner. The owner/host Daniel was warm and inviting on both visits and the service and offerings we experienced were very good. The coffee was done in a French press and was very flavorful. We didn't sense much else French about the place, but did see crepes on the menu. To me its colourful décor and artsy feel felt closer to a folksy 70's restaurant than French. The turkey dinner was good for what it was, though it might have been more interesting had a bit of local flare been added. It was well presented and the roast vegetables were very good. The prices were average to above average, about what can be expected for an American owned establishment in a town that has an economy largely based on tourism. I doubt a better turkey supper was available in Boquete that day.
I would recommend this place for those wanting to feel catered and attended to in a casual environment. Daniel was engaging and seemed genuinely interested in his customer's experiences and adding positively to them. Though he has only been in the community a few years he seems to have a wealth of knowledge about it. The restaurant seems to have well trained staff and is clean and comfortable.

We came here to celebrate my birthday and it really did top off my day! My boyfriend had the beef stroganoff and I had the thai chicken curry crêpe and both were very tasty. Best of all though was the crème brûlée, the guide book wasn't lying, it's delicious! We'll definitely be back again before we leave! Thanks guys for making it a special day for me :)
