We had gone during Ramadan and the whole place was almost empty. We started off on a bad note with the complimentary pick up coming to pick us an hour after we landed despite our reminders to them. The room was clean but that is the only decent part. There weren't enough towels provided, no napkins or floor mats at all in the room. The TV didn't work and we had to call housekeeping some four times to fix it. The AC was right on top of the bed and an uncomfortable blast of air throughout the night made us switch it off finally! There was no breakfast buffet and we were shown a small menu with limited things in limited quantities we could have as complimentary. Unfortunately, even that we ordered was cold and seemed stale. The reception didn't have anyone who could speak or understand much of what we said in English, so it was all really very annoying. Overall, we didn't really get a 'resort' experience at all with most of the facilities being closed or simply bad.Very disappointed.
