OK FOR THE price being this Oman, a bit far from the centre but you can get there by cab for 200 b. and you have to bargain. little breakfast in the morning, clean room and relatively c lean bathroom and kind people working there, but nothing special.

The Majan Guesthouse is OK. The service was not bad, the room was perfectly adequate, although the bed was extraordinarily hard, and the bathroom was shabby. The wi-fi worked well. Breakfast is served in the restaurant next door; the choice is limited and the food mediocre. The hotel is 7km out of town (although taxis are cheap if you bargain hard), and it's on a main road which is being widened, so it will probably become very noisy.

In conclusion, it's a relatively cheap option which is fine for a night or two.

Hotel room was somewhat clean but really old and over priced.
It is on a main highway so no food options other than their restaurant. we ordered dinner which took half an hour to make and was decent.
My reservation said the price was for a single or double room. When I got there they said I had only booked the room for 1 person but we were 2. I asked the supplement for the second person. The man at the reception mumbles a price. I repeated it back to him and he acknowledged. When I went to check out they tried to charge me 3 times the amount. When we called the man at home he continue lying saying he had given me the right price. Overall the place is overpriced and not worth even a quick overnight visit.

You pay money and get a bed, a bathroom, free WiFi and breakfast. There is really not much more to mention about this place. The prices appear high in comparison to other Hotels we stayed in. The location is convenient to explore Nizwa (by car!)

My room was very pleasant, the bed - as others pointed out - the hardest I have ever met in a hotel, but I managed to sleep. The breakfast next door is the same every morning, but not that bad. The guys at reception are very kind. The hotel is way out of city center, so stay there only if you have a car or do not mind taking taxi all the time. No pool, no garden, wifi only works at reception. With a car, it is not a bad option, but I think, 35 for a night is too much for this category.
