We actually dared to step out 1 night and have dinner in one of the restaurants in the area serving local cuisine.. that taught us a valuable lesson.. when the receptionist looks at you in stunned surprise you better not go ahead with your plans...
Now about the Restaurant at the Sawadi.. It is buffet style breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was well stocked with a variety of fruits, yoghurt, sides and an omlette/waffle station. For dinner I would do a first round to sample the food, because some dishes were just terrible (usually the ones that looked really good).. We also sampled the desserts and cocktails and I did not manage to find one that I liked.. For lunch, i tried the fish and chips and stuck with it for the rest of the trip (having learned a valuable lesson with the rest of the food and drinks).. Overall the food tasting was an adventure in itself :)
..good luck to the next person who dares to take on this risky endavour.. (I lost 1.9 kilos on that trip :)))
