“Great Pizza, but BOY you hae to WAIT and WAIT”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

Sure the pizza is great, the staff are very friendly, but you cannot order by the slice, the wait time to order your food can be very long..some times up to 45 minutes.

I came on a Sunday, so I didn't expect a long wait, but boy did I wait and wait, even though the waitress promised quick service.

My honest advice -don't go when there are crowds. The staff cannot handle a large intake of customers.

But I will give them one more try.

“Milkflower - it's a pizza restaurant in Astoria”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

Recently I ate in this restaurant while on a walking tour of Astoria. The pizzas were so good. My favorite was the pomodoro - you've never tasted sauce this good on a pizza. Other standouts were the brussel sprout pizza and the spicey sausage (similar to pepperoni, but better). The two brothers behind the counter own and run the restaurant. Ask them about the wood burning oven--it's a good way to start up a "foodie" conversation. Prices are reasonable, and it's an easy trek from Manhattan.
