If ever you visit NC then this is one of those places you can not miss! Translucent turquoise waters, radiant sunshine, luxurious vegetation: this is one of those paradise picture perfect spots. As another couple of posts mentioned, it is true NC is not that great at catering to tourists yet and L'ile des Pins can get pretty crowded. Saying this we went back a couple of times and there were also days when few people were there. Besides, surely you shouldn't let that spoil such amazing scenery - especially seeing that for most getting to NC in the first place is some distance! I flew over the area in a heli as well and that was absolutely terrific; highly recommended!!
