Travel here early because by 11am this pool is a full of tourists. We arrived at 8am with the entire place to ourselves and to find the tide out. The tide (and thousands of fish) was well and truly in by 9am and the other tourists didn't arrive until 9:30-10. You cannot come to Ile de Pines without visiting this place. Low tide makes it much easier to find the track leading to the pools. High tide sees the track almost entirely under water and you have to wade for ~15mins through water.

Both the surrounding 360° view and the snorkeling are amazing. Take some bread with you for the fish for a great show.

Nice walk, pristine water, great views. Definitely a nice place to swim on a hot day. (Walking track could be better sign posted.)

Great snorkeling, beautiful landscape and clear waters.
We managed to get some peace and quiet despite a P&O cruise boat and it hundreds of tourists arriving at the same time as us. Definitely worth going for a walk around when you are there - the other nearby bays are gorgeous too.
Take water if you are planning to stay for a few hours, there is a restaurant nearby (chez Regis) for which you will need to book but which is closed on Mondays so make sure you take sandwiches if you go a Monday.

Brilliant snorkelling for beginners. Feels like you are lost on the walk there but when you emerge from the swampy bushes, it's like paradise!
