Have done this tour before but took two of our children this time, The tour was fun (enough adrenalin without ripping up the environment or terrifying first timers), it's interesting and Fanie is so knowlegable about the area, its history and it people. We saw different things to the first time a couple of years ago (because the dunes move and new things are uncovered all the time). Fanie spent time making sure our youngest was comfortable on the quad before we headed off - he showed the kids how to have fun across the dunes, go over the slipface but be safe and look after the environment. The kids said early that morning: why are we going - there is nothing to see - it's just sand, but afterwards - they were totally amazed at what can be found living in the desert - now and thousands of years ago. They both said it was the best tour they'd done. We agree!!!
