We went early which was a good idea to still catch the sunset. Had lovely oysters and fish. Service was great and we had a good time. Could become a bit difficult with a big table and you are late we thought!

We had lunch there and the seafood was very good indeed. The view on our sunny day was good too and the service excellent. We're not sure we'd enjoy it as much at night.

What a cold ,wet and miserable place Swakopmund Namibia is. The only reason one goes there is for the sand dunes.I will review separately Living Desert Tour and my accommodation The Stilts both of which where very acceptable but Swakopmund as a destination apart from sand bording etc forget it it has nothing to offer. As for the jetty you see one you see them all nothing special .The information office has no info to offer what does that tell you.Swakopmund is German in heritage and has survived on tourism but the shops are overpriced all offer the same items and for those that are barricaded behind bars one must ring a bell to gain entry and again what does that tell you.Tours will advertise to see the shipwreck coast but try and find them and how far are you willing to travel. The Lighthouse Restaurant offered a good meal with hearty portions. Not one of my favorite destinations but was the last stop on the tour and from Walvis Bay airport I flew to Joburg for my connection home.

Saw the jetty mainly after dark after dinner at The Tug. Very eery walking down the Jetty with total darkness and only the city lights to give you direction.
