Description: This is NOT the pub at the beach, but an Italian restaurant INSIDE the actual lighthouse.

in the afternoon coming back from the beach we wanted to see the menu in 22 d south. The door was still closed, we only saw staff in different positions on the tables and chairs sleeping in the garden.
Nobody wanted to be waked up.
Before we had reserved a table for two inside, and the same evening we returned.
When we arrived we were seated, and we noticed lots of ants walking on the white tablecloth.
This did not seem to bother the waitress, she tried to put the plates right on top of the colony.
We ordered drinks. Lukewarm . Had to ask for some ice.
Same with the sparkling water. "we forgot to put it in the fridge"
Starters came.
My wife had Insalata Caprese. Tasteless tomatoes , mozarella and TWO leafs of basil.
I had homade ravioli salvia burro.
The raviolis were filled wit something that tasted like deep frozen spinach.
Even worse was the sauce: the plate was filled with burned brown hot butter with something that looked like a brown autumn leaf, most likely this repesented the sage.
We complained, but no action was taken.
After these experiences it was getting late and we decided that it was better to leave and not wait for the main course.
Of course we were charged for the main course anyway.
The same evening we we were just in time to have a great meal in the Hansa Hotel, one of our favorite places in Swakopmund.

on an utterly foul (weather) evening, we (a couple on Holiday touring Namibia) dined here.

Really good meal, good service, lovely wine, and great atmosphere - can't get a lot better than that in our Book.

Nothing was over-engineered, so it all flowed really well.

Sitting under the umbrella with a chilled glass of wine, a few girlfriends and great food - what could be better.

We came here last minute for dinner (the space is huge, so I wouldn't expect that you need a reservation). The atmosphere is great -- the restaurant is situated under a lighthouse, with a view into the ocean, with a romantic ambiance. The food was also amazing. We had the pizza (such thin crust, but doughy and strong at the same time), as well as the spaghetti. Both were delicious! The owner (an Italian) even greeted us and inquired about our meal. Great place for any meal
