I've never been to Germany or eaten German food before, but I have to say this place was great fun and the food was very good. It does seem strange to eat German food when the surrounding countryside is Sand Dunes and desert, but it was fun and different. The place has a nice atmosphere and the service was fine.

The waitress that served us could have been a little bit more friendly and not make us feel like she was doing us a favour. Not that much choice for gluten free - no traditional German potato salad!

Very German... Very very German but good german if you know german styled food.Well prepared food, good value and huge portions as always in Namibia. To some the service might seem a bit ignorant, but it's fast and efficient!

You need to book as it is really busy. If you don't you can eat at the bar - if there is space. Typical german style menu - it looke to me like it was meat and meat and saurkraut and potatoes - however there was quite an extensive menu. There is a good selection of beers and wines and prices are OK - NA$ 20 for a large beer and NA$ 21 for a large glass of wine. All in all I thought the prices were very reasonable - our meal for 2 comprising 3 beers, 3 wines, 2 starters and 2 mains was NA$440. I enjoyed the ambience - and would go back - after having booked!!!!!!
