Had a visit to this fantastic restaurant August 7th,2012
A must visit when in Swakopmund for lovers of sausages, schnitzel and grilled eisbein/schweinhaxe + game, beef, vegetarian and desserts.Had a huge ( biggest ever in life ) schweinhaxe served with sauerkraut, dumplings and a nice mustard.Perfect roasted and juicy pork meat.Good variety of beer and schnaps.
Had a nice Hansa Urbock and tried the microbrewery Camelthorn as well.Thank you staff for making a night to remember.

We were fascinated by this adorable German town in Namibia and couldn't pass on the opportunity to have a German meal while here. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Did mind the noise because it was true to the environment. Roast pork and schnitzel were delicious. Potatoes were only weak part of menu - they were clearly made from frozen - I think fresh are hard to find in dry Namibia. Beer was perfect. Loved the experience!

Everything of the best, really no complains, straight forward good food. I have been here many times and never had a bad meal or time. Love to sit outside in summer and have my Weizenbier. Unfortunately not open on Sunday evenings. Sad so...
Book in advance for groups more that 6....
Can't wait to return....

I'm hooked. I had the schnitze hunter style with mushroom sauce and it was amazing. The food and atmosphere were outstanding. I just wish this place was not so far away. I tried schnitzel two more times on our visit to Namibia and neither one came close the being as good as the first o ne at Swakopmund Brauhaus. If you visit Swakopmund you have to try this place out.

Full of german's and extremely noisy! Not the cleanest either! Took a while to be seated and service was extremely slow! The restaurant was full, so would suggest people like it but if your not a fan of the germans then here is not your place! However, vienna shnitzel was nice!
