One reviewer mentioned the stink which nearly put us off staying at An Der Mole - thank goodness we took Peter's (the owner) advice and stayed for 3 nights and had no smell whatsoever. Originally we wanted to book the Atlantik Sicht apartment but it was full (having seen the outside I am delighted we ended up at An Der Mole which is in a better location). It is right on the sea. Is well furnished. Bettina was brilliant - she gave us a phone to contact her which I used so she could book trips for us. The gas BBQ was a bonus. Car parking is secure. Prices were very reasonable for the two of us.
The weather was not great all of the time and the 14-18 degree temperature was a bit of a shock after 40+ degrees around Sossusvlei but we enjoyed Swakupmund - mainly because of the apartment and Bettina and Peter's friendliness.
We would go back anytime and suggest that you stay at An Der Mole if you have the chance.
