The riad is beautifully decorated in excellent taste and very well situated. The terrace is an attractive spot for breakfast when the sun is out and has a great view of the sea and the roof tops. Essaouirra is a delightful destination and suited our mixed age family party very well
The beds are comfortable and the showers hot and spacious.Despite the facility to choose a particular room, we did end up in a different one due to a hotel decision to reorganise our three room family booking. The public rooms are attractive but might struggle if all the guests decided to use them at the same time. We enjoyed the fire and the staff were helpful in getting information. I do like tea in bed in the morning so I missed the opportunity in the room to make tea or coffee which may not be the custom in Morocco.
Some renovation was in progress and we were woken by noise one morning and the structure with a small central courtyard and lots of stairs did mean that there was some noise from other guests in the morning.
We were also asked for 50% deposit by the riad which I took to be a mistake on the booking website and paid.More
